One day, I walked in with my mask on my face, but down on my chin. I apologized that I had forgot & pulled it up over my face. She STILL kicked me out the store for no mask because she said I should have had it completely on before I entered the store. As she was walking behind me screaming to get out, a customer came in with NO mask & went right to shopping without a mask. She I.D.s me every single time she sees me. Even if I walk out the store & right back in. I have no problem with that because it's the law. What I do have a problem with is how nasty her attitude and delivery is. One day I left my I.D. in the car and told her I was going out to retrieve it for her. I went got it & walked right back into the store & she STILL refused to sell tobacco or liquor to me because she said that I should have had it for her the first time she asked. This past Tuesday we both walked into the store. I carried the bottle to the counter and my husband pulled out his wallet to pay. She started rolling her neck & snapping that she needs my ID & not his. I asked if she was serious & she said, "you carried it up here didn't you?!" She said she was not going to ID my husband because HE is a REGULAR & I am not a regular. (Mind you, I go to the store more than my husband because he does not drink or smoke tobacco, but I do. He stops in for me on his way in from work.) I have come to grips that things with this lady will NEVER change so I vowed to find somewhere else close to home to buy. Unfortunately the next store is not conveniently around the corner so I stopped drinking and smoking tobacco altogether. I now save my (& my husband's money) so I guess it worked out after all.

We managed to order three drinks in the drive through and barely had to wait. I have only been this one time, through the drive through though. I've never actually gone inside the building, and I'm not even sure if the building is open during this pandemic. I really recommend stopping by if there isn't a line already. The woman at the window seemed nice and was patient while we looked over the menu. The drinks were good and the sizes were pretty big. I had a lot going on that day, so I didn't get a chance to finish my drink when I got home. I stuck my leftovers in the freezer and finished them the next evening. Still good! I got a simple strawberry margarita; it was sweet and boozy without being cloying or too strong. I'll be back to try something else.

I was in agonizing pain from dental surgery and desperately needed to buy a bag of ice. I walked around the whole store and the pain was pounding soooo bad. I stopped to ask this Bitch for the bags of ice and she gave me the ugliest scowl , like I had killed her Mama! She ran past me mad as hell , with her phone in her hand and I felt the wind blow by me! I was shocked because I didn't even get a chance to ask for help and still, can't understand why she was sooo hateful to me! I'm Mexican and Native American, golden brown skin and a woman. Thanks to God there was another man working the register. Although he had a mouth full of food, he was kind enough to help me and ring me up for gas and a bag of ice, he was even friendly . Most of the time , I can find a friendly person at this store even though they have high prices and the Dickey's bar b que has refused me service twice when my hair was darker and I looked more Mexican. This bitch though doesn't even know me and was acting like I was the damn devil! Last week I went to that store and saw her, 5 foot 5 inch , skinny, with dark black hair , beady rat face and her name starts with a K or a S, she work's in the evening, and she was prostituting her ass to this married man with a cute little boy with blonde hair, she was holding his hand when she gave him his change and slipped him her number saying " I'll give you a wild ride!". I was shocked but thought, damn they will hire anyone. I walked up to pay for my Canada Dry and she walked away from the register and gave me the ugliest look, rolled her eyes and ran outside. I don't know why she thinks it's ok to be rude to female customers but the whole world needs to be warned of this slut and homewrecker working in Morgan's point! I called the owner and was happy she heard my complaints and validated my feelings but she said " oh that's not like her", which is southern for, i don't believe you! Stay away from this store and drive the extra mile to Nomad's or any CEFCO store for friendly service and affordable prices in Morgan's point, Belton and Temple!

If it helps, you can imagine that I am speaking this review in Jim Lahey's drunken slurred speech…read more Sorry perfect beautiful liquor but this LC does not deserve you. The LC (liquor store for you non-Nova Scotians) provides the beautiful liquor so you too can become the liquor. Since I did not "pack ahead" for a road trip that I had to leave on in short notice I inquired with the front desk at my hotel where the nearest LC was - in retrospect I should have asked for the best liquor store in town rather than the nearest since the hotel itself was not exactly in the best area to begin with, unless you were in the mood for visiting two toothless hookers with a meal at the Dennys in between as your idea of a good time without even leaving the parking lot. The front desk of the hotel sent me here. It is a small store but I am not a size queen. I walked in and the liquor was haphazardly categorized in a bizarre fashion, like the motif for decorating was just "let's throw this stuff anywhere, not like it matters." I had to make a loop around the store to get my bearings first. Everything was very overpriced and the selection was abysmal. I have my preferences and I did not see a single thing I wanted or would have considered a fun find at a small town LC, but I was not going to do this thing as sober as a 12.9 year old so I had to gussy up and buy something for the hotel room. The second loop around the store I was in the zone to know I was looking for the least overpriced thing and looking for quality was out of the window, this was just a utility purchase where anything would do. Meanwhile the cashier was chatting with two friends and literally did not even look up once as I am wandering around the store for five minutes. Not that she could have helped much since they had no Irish whiskey section to speak of and the bourbon section was not worth writing home about, but clearly customer service came second to chatting with her homeys. The selection was supremely disappointing and a 750ml of Canadian Club was nearly $16 with tax which is a huge mark up for the convenience of visiting this dark, dingy store on the wrong side of the tracks with zero customer service just to get some hooch without driving all over town to find another LC. Army boys are getting taken advantage of if they visit here for the party liquors near their base. Having visited more chair force bases in my time than army, the LCs near the chair force bases are always quality because they know flyboy lips are best used for three things and one of them is downing Jim Lahey sized bottles of dark liquors. If you are visiting town in a hotel nearby ask your front desk for the BEST LC in town, not the nearest.
