After what felt like endless searching of the internet to find a decent pair of leather boots to fit me - size 7 feet with 30 inch calves, I couldn't believe my luck when I came across this site by pure chance as it has never appeared in my previous searches. I was lucky to find my exact calf and shoe size in the style I wanted (Sienna Black Leather) in the 'clearance stock' tab saving myself some pennies. I ordered the boots Monday afternoon and they were with me the following day - amazing speed!!! They truly were a perfect fit, totally comfortable and were exactly as shown and described on the website. I will definitely be ordering another pair in dark brown and am happy to pay the full asking price for them unless I get lucky again and another bespoke pair turns up in the sale... I bought a pair of Capri boots from The Bootmakers' clearance section recently and am delighted with them. I was a little hesitant as I am short (5'1") and thought they may be too long in the leg as they were not being made to my specific measurements but needn't have worried as they fit perfectly. Likewise the calf is nice and snug, although such is the quality of the leather I think they may give with wear and when (not if!) I order another pair I think I may go down to a 31" calf. The quality and workmanship is superb and the colour and texture of the leather is perfect. I also really appreciated the excellent customer service. My e mails were answered extremely promptly, Stephen was very helpful on the phone and the boots arrived two days after placing the order - fantastic! I have struggled to get good quality boots that fit my calves for 30 years. I am now the owner of three pairs...all made to measure. Black Suede small low heel , Black leather High heel andd Flat black patent leather. All are perfect and quality is great. I ordered and have my boots with in three weeks all were made to measure. I have been after a pair of boots for my very wide calves for yearsI am now in possession of a pair that fit like a glove! I ordered from the bespoke range, and at £300 some may think them a bit expensive they are worth the expense. The leather is super soft and the craftsmanship is second to none. I have slim ankles, small feet and 'strong' calves so getting boots to fit was very difficult. Most of the time I wore a size larger and socks to fill in the 'gaps'. Finally now I have a pair of gorgeous boots (Black Kensington) which not only fit properly, but look smart and expensive and make my legs look slim too!
