Who would have thought some of the best poutine I've had outside of Canada would be in Pagosa…read moreSprings?! We stopped here while driving through to Durango, drawn in by poutine on the menu. We were seated right away - and they were slammed! Despite this, we had a very attentive server. I ordered the poutine as my meal, and it was seriously some of the best. It was absolutely loaded with cheese curds and gravy - they didn't skimp on anything! I swear there were multiple layers of curds on top of each layer of fries. The gravy was perfect, too - not too salty and so full of flavor. My wife got the catfish basket and was happy with her choice as well - though she may have been a bit jealous of my poutine! No idea if or when I'll ever be back in Pagosa Springs, but I will definitely stop here again if I am.

We stopped here while traveling through Southwest Colorado after noticing it was one of the…read morehigher-rated restaurants in the area. The restaurant was clearly popular, with a packed parking lot and a steady line of guests waiting for tables. While the outdoor seating wait was about 30 minutes, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated indoors right away. The atmosphere is lively and energetic, though it can get quite loud during busy times. I ordered the Rio Brisket Tacos and appreciated the happy hour discount, which made them an even better value. The Chokecherry Habanero Margarita was a standout, offering just the right balance of flavor and heat. My son tried the Homesick Texas Steak Sandwich along with a homemade root beer and thought they were decent. Service was a bit inconsistent during our visit, but the staff seemed to be managing a very busy crowd. The restaurant's popularity was evident when we overheard that the wait time had grown to an hour and a half by the time we left. Overall, while the experience didn't completely meet our expectations, it's easy to see why this spot draws such a crowd. The unique drink offerings, happy hour specials, eating by the river and strong local following may make it worth a visit for travelers passing through the area.

Awesome new wine bar in Pagosa! They offer a really extensive selection of wines by the glass, and…read morehave some of the best white wines I have ever tried. My fiancé and I both enjoy wine and have been to many wine bars all over. This place stands out in both selection and service. If you have people in your party that prefer something other than wine they also had a good selection of Colorado beers and non alcoholic options. We both started with the ABC wine flight (I got the white, he got the red) and both really enjoyed them. We also ordered the classic board - highly recommend! The portions were generous and the selection of meats and cheeses were excellent, especially the Spanish chorizo. After we finished our flights, Bob, the resident "wine guy", chatted with us about their selection and even gave us a few samples to try before deciding which glass to order. I had previously thought I was an ABC (anything but Chardonnay) gal, but had my mind completely changed by the ZD Chardonnay. If you enjoy white wines but usually steer clear of Chardonnay give this one a try! I don't think you'll be disappointed. We also chatted with Sarah, the GM, and the owner during our time there. Both were clearly extremely passionate about creating a great local spot that added something new to the Pagosa area. Overall, the attention to detail in the selection of the wine list and items selected for their boards really makes this place stand out to me as a top tier wine bar. My fiancé even said "I just want to take a picture of the menu because I know anything on it will be good." The passion for creating a great experience also really sets this place apart from others to me. Highly recommend chatting with Bob if you are interested in wines or just want to try something new! We will definitely be back in!

Never disappointed by Cork & Board. Fantastic service and even better food and wine. The place…read morefeels and food tastes a bit more elevated than many of the other pubs and restaurants in town, but not overly so.

Absolutely delicious dinner!! Loved the variety of cocktails. The fava bean toast was a favorite…read morefor sure. The carrot "nage" with the Mahi Mahi was just WOW! Service was attentive, but not intrusive. Our only complaint - we sat on the patio for the view. All of the plastic sides were closed, and it was too warm. Plus, the plastic really detracted from the view.

My biggest complaint is that they heavily advertise the happy hour on the big side outside but when…read moreyou walk it, it's all hush hush. You have to sit at the bar for happy hour and they don't have an official happy hour menu (they just read it off to you but don't tell you prices or anything). I think they should fix that and I know they print the menu daily but maybe star the happy hour items or put up a sign somewhere for people. Service was nice and I ordered the thai me up cocktail (9/10) a beer (I don't like beer so) the potatoes (9/10) and the green chile crab (6/10). The cocktail inspired me because it was a fantastic blend of flavors. The potatoes were the same way; great textures and really unique blend of spices. The blend reminded me of Indian influences and the dill was a great touch. Crab cake was very mid to me. I didn't care for the sauce or the texture because I personally prefer a crispier crab cake. Did have whole crab which was nice but very little spice or green chile flavor. 30$ for one crab cake is also criminal. Overall not bad. Since they didn't list the happy hour prices or items I got charged full price for some items which was disappointing. I didn't even notice until after. If you come here, expect unique dishes but keep an eye on your bill :)
