I made a comment to my husband that this was a place people came to retire in. That being said, there was not many places for us to find souvenirs for our family! This shop was one of maybe three that we visited and where we ended up buying our souvenirs. The shop is split up into two main sections. The front is where the more delicate and fragile homemade/community made items were located. The items were a little pricey in the front. I get it, it's homemade and the skill and labor that goes into it comes with a cost; however, nothing worth the price caught our eyes. The back was where the touristy items/homemade bath/spa items were. We browsed both areas, but we eventually only bought items in the back of the store. I liked that there were testers for the spa items, like the lotions and sprays. I would have regretted buying some of them just based off the names. We also bought some T shirts that were half off, which was a really good deal! As for the service, no one really spoke to us while we were there. We didn't mind since we like to just browse and shop at our own pace. Especially being tourists, not really looking for anything specific. The lady that checked us out was friendly.

They offer a huge variety of products made with honey, everything from honey butter and wine to syrups and glazes. It's the kind of place where you walk in "just to look" and end up wanting to try everything. The quality and variety really stood out. Beyond the food, the shop is full of charming gifts and décor, adorable bee-themed plaques, kitchen towels, and more. It has that perfect rustic, Colorado feel. What really caught our attention was the outdoor setup. The large honey-dipper-style poles and the big bear statue make it such a cute and memorable spot, perfect for photos. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the Durango area. It's a sweet little gem (literally)!

Everyone is so friendly and it all tasted well made and so good. The store has much more than alcohol and honey for purchase. Tons of fun home stuff and stuffed animals for children. You can also buy gift sets of the honeys or make your own set. There are pancake mixes, candy, candles and more! My husband really enjoyed the honey coffee liquor. I Iiked the whipped honey in original, bumbleberry, coffee and more. The hot honey and cherry habanero honey mustard were fantastic. The raw honey was really good and clean too, although I still preferred the wildflower raw honey. If you're ever in the area, come check this place out!
