While this store is well worth a visit on it's own, it's also conveniently located within The Shirt Factory which features dozens of local shops and businesses, so be ready to browse everything! This bookstore specifically focuses on queer and indigenous authors and stories, giving space for often under-represented groups. It also features a fabulous selection of bookish accessories including bags, stickers, pins, bookmarks, and more. I spent probably just as much time checking out the sassy stickers and pins as I did the books themselves. Ultimately I decided on three books (scoring one on sale too!), a pin, and a sticker, and walked out for right around $60 so I'm happy with the pricing.

I was amazed by the large layout and selection while browsing. The display areas are engaging and have you stopping to look every few feet. I found books for myself, as well as a Father's Day gift for my husband thanks to a specific display they had with Father's Day ideas. I loved the vinyl section, the horror selection, and the large graphic novel area. They also had some unique art books on display that I had not seen anywhere else. At one point I was looking for a specific title and the employee was able to help me find it. When checking out I learned they had been here for 13 years and the first shop is located in Manchester, Vermont. I was given a 10% off coupon and told about their online shop. I love supporting indie bookstores and spent a good 30 minutes shopping around. Very happy with my purchase. This is a bookstore you won't want to miss!

They brought much of the same charm from Manchester to Saratoga, sticking true to the Northshire style with nooks and crannies, metal stairs, and the dedicated children's section on the upper level. The store was actually much bigger than I expected; the exterior was deceptive in a good way. My only complaint is that the romance section was surprisingly small; I feel like BookTok has really helped that genre take off so seeing just two shelves of romance was disappointing. But the sci-fi/fantasy section is great, and with an entire level dedicated to children's books I can see it being a hit for families too. They also have discounted books labeled with the "Great Price" sticker which was nice to stumble upon; everyone loves a good deal!

This is such a cute little shop that has pretty much everything all in one. They have amazing little shop filled with knick knacks, like Christmas decorations, from jewelry, homemade decorations and a small sections of a miniature supermarket and a delicious homemade restaurant. It was exceptionally difficult to find since all of the poetry books were under the "westerns" section. I had to wait quite a while for someone at the customer service desk, but the gentleman that showed up was super helpful. There's a cafe that sells Starbucks products (but they don't take Starbucks gift cards). The children's section is actually quite large and extensive. I tend to frequent smaller, locally owned bookstores, but I sometimes enjoy spending my time and dollars at a B&N.

They have a section of used books for a lower price along with a cafe. They even sell records.
