When my friends and I were deep in conversations, I forgot we were in a closed room and it felt like we were sitting at a table in a forest instead! We loved all the fun and pretty details in the woodland room. We loved the other rooms too and appreciate how we were able to walk through all of them, take pics, and play around! We loved all of the food and drinks that were served. We had blueberry scones, tea, lemonade, various finger sandwiches, salad, cheesecake, and sparkling cider. We were able to take home the leftover food and we had plenty to eat between the 6 of us. Denise is friendly and easy to communicate with both via email and in person. I'm so glad I reserved her woodland room for my bridal shower. She made the day feel so special and fun! This occasion was special - my wife and I were throwing our daughter an engagement party for about 70 people. Thank goodness I hired Cindy! Forget the fact there is no way I could have done this on my own for that many people anyway - but what really made the event was the fact she was beyond the ultimate professional she was a better version of me (sorry not trying to brag - just stating facts). She was incredibly prepared (and brought her daughter Ronnie who was an amazing help as well!). She knew her way around my grill as if it was her own. She brought all the right tools and gadgets to ensure every dish came out perfect - which ALL of them did! And she even took the tails off the 10 lbs of shrimp I had mistakingly ordered - in literally minutes - incredible! Everything was cooked, grilled and presented with absolute perfection. Last night was the start of something special between my family and love.cook.nourish. Cindy is now the only person I will trust going forward and is now unofficially an adopted member of our family or should I say my sister from another mother... Love.cook.nourish is hands down the best caterer for your event or party - regardless of how complex or simple, you want to make it! This is our second year here and I was floored. I started off with a new cocktail for me the French 75 with vodka vs gin and my husband had bourbon neat. The lady bartender was so good, friendly and easily took care of our crowd with wonderful cocktails. The menu and the food quality is exceptional. Stephanie MA, was our server and she was friendly, met our table of 12 every need which is hard with a big group. The menu is pre fix and we couldn't been happier I started with grilled oysters topped with butter and caviar. My husband had focaccia topped with crap and prawns. I had seared scallops and my partner had the fig salad and a huge portion of filet mignon topped with crab and prawns. I had the seared duck breast and for desert chocolate lava cake for me and a lemon foam concoction. Each of the food offerings were plated beautifully and our group was happy with everything. We finished our meal and at midnight we had a champagne toast, a balloon drop and old school dj music encouraging all of us to join on the dance floor. Massimo's outdid themselves and I intend to come in for dinner throughout the year as we live close. It is without reservation,I encourage you to dine here. I'm definitely coming next year for NYE. Ok let's start by taking this back over 1 year ago during our first visit. It was 2025 and we were…read morecelebrating Valentine's Day. Loved the vibe of the restaurant that evening and it was honestly the perfect setting for a romantic dinner and the live singer was a great added bonus. So let's dive into the details. I should first mention that I'm writing this from experience from that evening when I shared my review with a friend. Now let's get into it. We came for the prime rib accompanied by the creamed corn and spinach. The excitement filled us but was left utterly disappointed. I guess when you're spoiled by the quality of HOPR then you can't help but compare it. The creamed spinach did contain some artichokes, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. (Not a fan of artichokes) but the corn was pretty tasty, I'll give them that. Don't expect creamy mashed potatoes, it was just simply mashed potatoes and we absolutely hated that. I'd suggest trying the potato au gratin (it might be better but I haven't tried it). I asked for my prime rib rare and it came a little more medium than I liked. Did not come with a popover, but again, it's not HOPR. The salad was fine (can't mess that up). We ended the evening with crème brûlée that took some time to come out and when it did, you would have thought you got soup. We sent it back and received a new one that was just slightly better. I guess they ran out and had to make more but it didn't have time to chill. Other than that, the atmosphere and service was 100/10. Fast forward to Father's Day 2026. Our second visit here and this time we sat outside for a 5pm reservation and we'll probably never sit outside for dinner again unless they can provide those fly fans, otherwise you'll need to charge these flies their share of the bill. It was getting crazy.. To start, we had the pomme frites and steak tartare. Unfortunately, both were a huge disappointment. Anyone would expect pomme frites to be skinny French fries, not large potato wedges! What kind of Idaho potatoes did they source because these were LARGE wedges and on top of that, they weren't crispy at all. We literally picked one up and it broke in half. Moving on, I've had enough steak tartare in my life and I can honestly say with confidence that this place has the worst one I've ever had. Steak tartare contains some kick due to the hot sauce by why marinate the entire thing in sauce?? The salad was fine as you truly cannot mess that up. For the main course, we ordered their tomahawk, sautéed mushrooms and upgraded to the lobster mashed potatoes. The sides were perfect and the lobster mashed potatoes were chefs kiss. The Tomahawk was cooked to the perfect rare, however, I would've seared both sides to give it that nice crisp edge. Otherwise it was just fine. For the little one, we ordered the juniors cut prime rib and asked for both sides to be seared. It did not come that way when it was served so we sent it back. The little one loved it. Ended our dinner with the pear bread pudding that was suggested to us by our server and it really saved the day. Like forget the negative stuff I had to say because that bread pudding? Holy mother THAT is the best bread pudding I've ever had in my life. Again, service was still 100/10. But that bread pudding is the only thing that would get me to come back.
