Shana is super friendly & strong. Firm pressure throughout the massage. Not "flu-flu" massage. She went to Massage School in NY (where she is from) & got an Associates in Massage Therapy. NY has one of the highest requirements to become a Professional LMT. Her space is located in her house - it's simple & has the most important thing: a very good professional to give you a very good massage. If you are just looking for fancy, then she isn't your gal, but massage well done? Yes, please. Shana is a flexible person & easygoing. For whatever reason the GPS gets lost, but she warned me & gave me directions before hand & was also helpful when I did get lost anyways (‍ imagine that? Lol - I'm horrible with directions). Allow extra time to go there in case you too get lost or simply to find it. Not hard to find though. Thank you Shana for the wonderful massage you did on me. My wife and I were looking to get massages on our recent visit to Sedona from Prescott yesterday. It was rainy and cold and a perfect time for some healing. We found Shana on line and made appointments for that day. She was very thorough in her initial assessment of our needs. I had a horrible headache and had a recent shoulder surgery that still gives me some pain once in a while. I'm not sure what I was expecting but I certainly wasn't expecting how good she is. By the time it was over my headache was gone, my anxiety was down and I felt like we gained a new friend. I've been to hundreds of these places and it's always a gamble. WOW!!! I'm so impressed. Hands down the best massage I've ever had. Shana and Rachel were so kind and friendly! My husband and I had a couples massage, and I had Rachel. We both had a 90 minute massage. With just having a baby 5 months ago, I've had a handful of massages to help my stressed out mind and tense body. This was the best experience ever, Rachel was knowledgeable and knew how to stretch every part of my body. She was respectful too and made sure I was comfortable. It was so stress relieving- my hormonal self wanted to cry! Haha My husband also gets a lot of massages and when we got back to our car he also said that was his best massage ever from Shana! Cannot recommend in the slightest. I am a pretty casual person, interested in supporting people who may be getting their business up and running, the whole "support the locals" vibe, etc. This one however was a mistake. Yes it's out of their house but pulling up outside, seeing it, should have been first cue that this was not for me. Maybe something changed since the last Yelp reviewers and the quality and cleanliness dropped. House was a mess, I was staring up at numerous daddy long leg spiders on the ceiling , masseuses was wearing a stained shirt and a skirt that appeared too small, she wanted to converse the entire massage and was constantly leaving the room for reasons unknown. Why didn't I turn around and leave before it started you ask - I don't have an answer for that. read more

My trip to Sedona simply would not have been complete without the 90 minute reiki + massage from Shana and Lokai. They clearly knew what they were doing and showed great expertise in their fields. They went well over the 90 minute timeslot to debrief with me about what I experienced and to help me answer questions about the energies I give off. My massage/reiki experience extended well beyond just reiki and the massage - it was a true spiritual awakening. I have never been an extremely spiritual person or resonated with spiritual practices, but this experience was the first time that I did. After the experience, I journaled for hours about all of the insights that I had from it. I had done research about the best priced massage/reiki experiences and Sedona and stumbled upon TheBodySattva in that way, but I couldn't possibly put a pricetag on a life-changing experience like this one. I am so fortunate for Shana and Lokai's kindness, care, and openness to sharing their expertise with me. They were so knowledgeable, eloquent, and eager to create a welcoming yet peaceful atmosphere.
