After a week of hiking around Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon, and Sedona- we had booked Spa Services the day before our flight back home. Thea worked with my wife to book our services a few days in advance. We had hiked the day before pretty much behind where this spa is located so it was easy to find. The ladies providing services for my wife and I were Jodi & Kate. We spent four relaxing & rejuvenating hours between two different suites for the wraps, massages, sports massage, wraps, reflexology, and a facial. The entire time was a pleasure and aided our recovery after hiking over 32 miles during our time in AZ. My favorite was the body scrub followed by various oils, massage and the hot stones. Based on the excellent service I received the first time, I knew I had to revisit again. My husband and I enjoyed a 90 minute couples massage that was curtailed to both of our physical needs. Thea was my masseuse (both times) and Jodi was my husband's masseuse. Thea and Jodi began our visit with a personalized consultation ensuring they understood our concerns and goals for our treatment. I have had many massages over the years, including beach side massages in the open air tropics at a fancy resort to massages at your local reflexology spa, and everything in between. But nothing has come close to my massage experience with Thea. Her decades of experience shows and is felt in her technique. I highly recommend including the stomach massage. As one who regularly strength trains in the gym, I appreciated my glutes getting attention as well. In my opinion, I would opt all day long for Thea's hands over a luxury resort setting. I get a lot of massages, and I have to say that Thea was amazing. In addition to my massage, she gave me a mix of Trager, Jin Shin Jyutsu, hot stone - along with a Chakra balancing. The experience started off with a consultation where she encouraged communication and went over what I needed and wanted. She explained everything in depth and helped me to choose some essential oils to be used during the massage. It was unlike any massage I ever had, and I felt so relaxed and awesome afterward. Wow. My husband and I booked a couples massage here and it was easily the best massage we've ever had. We ended up here after our resort spa couldn't fit us in and honestly, I'm so glad. This is a small spot, but so well kept and clean. The ladies were all so welcoming, too. Thea was my massage therapist and she was awesome. She listened to me and really focused on the areas that hold the most tension. They use hot stones and essential oils in all of their massages. You don't have to deal with the "extra add-on" charges. They also introduced me to an abdominal massage which I really recommend! I will absolutely be back here next time I'm in Sedona. My Husband and I each had a 90 minute massage here on Sunday, October 18th at 5:30PM. We made an appointment several weeks prior. This location is in a building off of the main road behind a fire department, about 10 minutes drive from Uptown, but even closer to where we were staying. We both had amazing massages. We appreciated all of the precautions the business was taking at this time, and the facility was clean, well appointed and relaxing/quiet. We loved how they took the time to do a "consulation" of sorts and talk to you about what you wanted, were looking for, expecting and needing. They took the time to understand us and didn't take the time off of the massage, which was amazing! The use of hot rocks and oils are included in all or most of the services. We found the prices to be on par with what we expect to pay for this service. Please give an appropriate gratuity to these fine folks. They deserve it. Also, I was very impressed at the offer of an abdominal/chest massage. I have been to many, many massage places in my history and this is the first place that has ever offered this in the typical/routine massage. I took the opportunity to say yes, and loved it. If my travels took me back to Sedona, I would definitely come here again in the future. read more

WOW....just...WOW! My massage was this morning and I think I've finally regained the ability to speak & think clearly. I went all in for the Touch of Gold service and it was beyond worth it. Jodi did an EPIC job. She discussed with me what I had going on with my body and what I would like as part of the massage (how much pressure, etc). Everything she did was full of intention and the utmost care. The Japanese facial was amazing! The first thought I had about it was that it was like a gentle car wash for your face (the percussion of her fingers tapping on my face, the scrubby gloves, etc) - and then there's the gold leaf...GOLD LEAF - ON YOUR FACE!! How long is too long to wear gold leaf on your face after a facial? When you're living your best life, there's no such thing as too long. You go on with that gold leaf on your face and you are LITERALLY fancy AF. Be warned - if you happen to go to a curio store immediately afterwards (ie Kachina House around the corner), you might be so zenned out that money will have little meaning... #TheyGotAllOfIt. Oh my, oh my! Traveling through the area, I extensively researched spas and specifically massage based companies. Yelpers did not steer us wrong! My husband and I each had a massage. I had the lymphatic massage with Kate and my husband had Romancing the Stone with Adriana. After all these years we both declare these were the best massages we've ever had! They used the perfect amount of pressure and the hot stones & essential oils were wonderful. Mine added dry brushing and a scrub. They were 90 minutes each and it was pure heaven. The treatments were less expensive than some of the other spas and most importantly to us were the Covid measures in place. They Incorporated air purification plus ultraviolet light disinfection in addition to standard masks and social distancing. What a treat in these trying times. Can't say enough about how wonderful the people are here. The proprietor is one of the warmest, kind hearted people I've had the great fortune of interacting with. I was down and out from a two year long renovation when I came to her. She introduced me to an energy modality call Jin Shin Jitsu. It's like acupuncture but without needles. I was amazed to find it genuinely revitalized me. Also, I have sciatica. That was greatly relieved as well. Even though she was only lightly touching me with her finger tips my legs and feet were spasming. Energy was flowing through! This is real people!!! I love that I found her and this incredible healing method. I'm so enthusiastic about it I plan to learn it. It is something you can do for yourself and Thea is only too happy to show and explain things you can while you are in a session with her. Other fantastic treatments abound here as well. Pamela gave me and my husband her Lomi-Lomi Hawaiian massage. Best I ever had. For me personally she knows just the right amount of pressure. I never had to direct her although she is someone you could openly talk to and tell her if you would like more or less pressure. One day Pamela was not available so I tried Katie. Another 10! She has suffered from Sciatica as well so she knows just what to do. And what a sweetheart. Johnny is Thea's husband. I did not have the opportunity to have any treatment with him but my husband did. He said he is very effective in Jin Shin Jitsu and he likes him on a personal level as well. I talked with Johnny. He's an artist and an old soul. By the way, my husband was not up for the Jin Shin Jitsu preferring to stick with a massage instead. I talked him into and now he is even more enthusiastic than I am! We are believers. I've done plenty of other types of treatments for sciatica:physical therapy, acupuncture, stretching religiously, massages all the time but this JSJ is the best pain reliever I've ever encountered. I had a nice treatment and the masseuse was so friendly, but this place was very difficult to get to even with a GPS directing me. It took me far longer than necessary to find it, and the directions on their website are not very useful. But once you actually do find the spot, located on the bottom floor of a very small business outlet, you will be greeted by wonderful staff and enjoy a great service. Pam and Cecily have convinced me that hotel spas are not worth it and these massage places are. Service: Amazing. I'm actually not a spa or massage person but this was one of the best I have ever had. They pressure was right, they really paid attention to areas they felt some knots in my back, they listened to my body and adjusted accordingly.
