This newer gym has pretty decent layout and has all the basics - machines, free weights, squat racks, 3 bench press stations, and one of my favorite a turf section that has sleds to push/ pull. There is also a private section just for personal trainers so you don't have to worry about how busy the gym is when you got a personal training session. Tons of cardio machines The spin class and workout room both have a virtual function that has a drop-down projector screen and a select your own virtual trainer/workout just in case there is no trainer booked when you need your workout. They have massage therapy clinic and free to use massage chairs OMG ( they're very epic). I believe there's a health/ nutrition consultant as well. The vending machine there has protein bars and powder , pre workout, snacks and tanning oils for there two tanning rooms on site ( stand up and lie down) I would probably boost to a five star if there was an Olympic lift section...

It was nice cause there were one ten members so it wasn't over crowded. The instructor was great at warming everyone up before jumping straight into vinyasa flow. My only complaint is that the floors of this gym really need to be vacuumed, there seems to be rocks, hair and dust throughout the change rooms, gym floors and yoga room. It would be also nice to see some basic amenities in the change room such as hair ties, q-tips and face wipes. I will keep coming as it is a super convenient location just steps from the Clareview lrt station.

Being a student, a helper, a junior instructor with the leadership team & my final journey as instructor with my dear friend Jessica. Even when I retired, it has always been in my heart - I can still recall my self-defense, some of my poomsae's, step defense, board/brick breaking, life lessons & the cherished relationships I've made. I must stress the importance of my training as I unfortunately in my life found myself in a very scary violent domestic violence relationship. I truly do feel that my taekwondo training possibly saved my life, I believe in multiple situations I found myself in - it detoured him from the volatile confrontation turning into a very real scary physical one from happening. It also gave me the confidence to stand up for myself & create a 'safe plan' to leave this toxic relationship... now that I have my son I cant stress the importance of self-defense. I brought my son & nephew for their first class & it was a very heart melting moment for me as I watched my beloved head master Derek Sadler tie my son's & my nephews white belt for their first class. As he did mine many years ago. There is no doubt in my mind my son & nephew are is great hands. I'm looking forward to watching their journey & watching many more belts being tied. Most of the time the place is REALLY clean & I love that! The counterperson is always friendly & happy to answer questions. They play a lot of hip-hop music on the sound system and I appreciate that instead of the usual gym music, so that if/when I forget my headphones, I can still workout to good tunes! There was a problem once with no hot water - but the girl was on the phone pronto to get it fixed & apologized for the inconvenience. I was really impressed with how she handled the whole thing. Only detractors are that sometimes the bike - when pedalling- will skip a rotation and cause my leg to jolt downwards...after a few of those & you soon quit the bike. I've noticed some of the treadmills were down...and the elliptical trainer machines look ancient! Also, there is a room with hardwood flooring and while I trained there, It was often cluttered & disorganized :(

Not like a BUSINESS versus a single adult needs that or anything. It took me having to cancel my credit card so they won't be able to continue to charge me. I truly wish I had never signed up, it has been nothing but grief and anguish for two solid years where the only focus has been MONEY. Quite honestly, the most horrific and HEARTLESS company and customer service I've ever had to deal with in my life. I strongly advise that this company re-evaluate your costs, and inflexible policies in the STRUGGLING times we are living in. I'll remind you that your patrons are human beings, not atm machines.

Getting the trial was seamless and so easy. When I arrived, the staff were super friendly and the paperwork was quick and easy. I was surprised to see I was the only one there to work out at 10 am. Part of me loves that- I often prefer to work out without distractions. The other part of me thought "aw, that's no fun!" A trainer walked me through each station and gave me fantastic tips and encouragement through the entire 30 mins. The workout itself is high intensity intervals (hence HIT) and focuses on kickboxing with an undertone of self defense training. I can get behind that. I loved that the workout was so quick, and totally ruined my body (and I'm used to working out regularly.) I can see how this would be a wicked option for people who are busy, but want to get a wicked workout/relieve some serious stress. The things I would change about this place would be their hours, and having a greater variety of stations. Their hours of operation are a little funky (they're closed in the afternoon) and I worry that I might get bored with the same stations! Too bad they don't have punch cards. Still thinking on whether I'm going to commit to a membership myself, but I definitely recommend checking it out! That trainer will kick your butt! I wish I could remember her name :(
