They also added new and different classes and are super welcoming. I love how this studio has evolved. I have been a student of theirs since the Whyte avenue days where lineups went into the street when they were the first hot yoga studio in the city. They asked us to grow as students and themselves have grown as a studio. This proves they listen to their students (and customers). They have a lot of experience and their classes reflect this. Overall it is a great studio. They have new laminate flooring, good air circulation and nice change rooms (although soap in the shower would be helpful). Definitely worth a try!

They communicate via text if required and respond so quickly. have had so many hiccups in my life this past few years and I am grateful for all of their accommodation and understanding. The Studio is welcoming and impeccably clean. Each teacher is unique and offers an amazing experience. I always feel comfortable and staff are always willing to help. They have lockers to put our stuff such as wallet, car keys and jacket; they also lent me the lock :) There is parking available so you won't have to deal with street parking. Class length was one hour and it was a really good experience. Instructor had enough patience and knowledge to modify some movements if you start felling any type of discomfort. I brought my yoga mat but If you don't have one they can help you with one, same as if you need a lock for the lockers. They offer hot yoga and traditional yoga style, they have classes for all levels from beginners, intermediate, advanced. Also offer courses for kids, seniors, and prenatal sessions. Parking lot is available in front of the business. Full bathrooms with 3 showers each.

The prices are reasonable, punch cards and monthly drop-in passes are available, and there are many other sessions and retreats offered via the studio. There is also a small shop of yoga apparel and other wellness related items. In my experience the classes are quite mixed in terms of age range and gender, and are often quite busy, so arrive early to get your preferred floor space. I think it's usually about 20 people per drop-in class with plenty of room left. The website outlines exactly what classes are offered when, with a calendar that's usually for 2 months at a time. I would give Yoga Within 5 stars save for the following things: - very few to no classes Fri-Sun from noon onwards - slow check-in, one staff dealing with 40+ people trying to register - poor soundproofing - lots of noise between studio rooms and from adjacent businesses, plus traffic noise from 75th Street 4 to 4.5 stars, there's something for everyone at Yoga Within!

Unfortunately it was a little bit noisy from the traffic outside. But other than that I would highly recommend it. I can't wait to go back and try other meditation or tibetan bowl classes. I am new to yoga, and Navina is the second local studio I have visited recently through my…read morelululemon practice membership. Navina already gets big points for being located in Windermere, making access easy and the commute short for me. Finding the studio is a little bit tricky (go through a main entrance, up the stairs and down a hall) but I got a phone call a few hours before my class explaining all this, which was great. The studio is on the smaller side, but nice and welcoming, and the actual classroom is very large and spacious, with lots of windows facing out over Windermere. There are lots of cubbies and hooks for boots and jackets, and complementary valuable lockers with keys. The studio has a small area for seating with some goodies to buy from local vendors, as well as tea and water. I tried the Modern Flow class with a friend and enjoyed the pace of the class, and also that it was not super crowded and busy. I was able to keep up with the movements and found the warm up and cool down at the end to be just the right amount of time. It was good enough that we bought more passes, and the second class we tried was a lot more challenging (different instructor) and got my heart rate up a bit. Navina isn't as flashy or high end as some other studios I have been to, but they have a great space with good people and I'm looking forward to learning more about yoga and challenging myself with different classes over the winter.

You get to do poses by yourself while bby is on the floor playing and if the bby gets crancky, the instructors step in to entertain them so you can continue your work out. The 2nd half of the hour is spent singing bby songs while doing poses with your baby. The only downside I would think has nothing to do with the Studio...just where it's located and the very limitted parking available so make sure you're early in case you don't find a spot. Love love hot yoga!…read more Very similar to the south side location I normally frequent, but CRAZY busy (when it comes to the Friday night karma class)! o_O Thankfully the karma classes are run in a similar fashion, which helps you understand and expect what moves are coming and helps you prepare for the transition into the next pose :) I believe the change rooms are slightly smaller than the other location, with slightly less space between the shower/bathrooms and the cabinets with the lockers. While the cabinet-turned-lockers were nice, I prefer the other location which had combination locks for your smaller valuable items like phones and keys and such. Not sure if it's because I keep happening to attend classes with the same instructors but I had found that this location's staff wasn't as pleasant or inviting as the other location this last time I went, but I'll be going a few more times so maybe it was just an off night for them. *Name change alert* Now renamed to Metta Yoga (same as the south location)!

Schedules get updated every season and the fabulous owner, Lisa, is constantly evolving her studio to include new and innovative methods. A new one this past year is the Karuna yoga class. Karuna is sanskrit for compassion. This class is my absolute fave (well, maybe after Reiki Yoga with Tammy!). The Karuna class utilizes nubby massage balls to help release tight and sore muscles and work into he fascia. It's all about listening to your body and having compassion for yourself and your yoga practice. Soul Fitness offers drop in classes, unlimited passes, and 50 class punchcards that can be shared within a family or corporation. Also - props to the hot tea from The Tea Place which changes up everyday :-) I was there yesterday and I'll be back tonight because it is that good!
