The location of the Boathouse is pretty hard to knock - by a golf course on the wharf overlooking Pittwater. O dear how dreary!
It is ridiculously popular, with a huge queue for food and a wait of at least 45 for food, but the food is pretty good, not spectacular, but good.
Flathead and chips was great, the calamari very crispy, the steak sanger with haloumi serviceable, and the oysters definitely fresh.
Its an unusual set up in that it sells flowers, milk, bread, bit of produce, coffee and cakes and full cafe fare.
Recommended and worth a second visit. read more
