One of the best venues in northern Utah. Amazing staff, great venue, not to mention they like to take care of their bands! They recently had a ton of property destroyed by a "authentic punk" band and for some reason have been under a ton of scrutiny for banning them. However you can take a look at their Instagram (@boardwalksound) to see that their community backs them. They also require masks and check your temperature at the door. This venue is has a super cool setup, amazing staff, and great sound. The staff was extremely organized and let us (my band) know everything that was happening. We felt at home, and had a very good time. Unfortunately, there was a mishap with another band that performed with us. A hardcore punk band proceeded to destroy property owned by the venue, and generally were disrespectful to staff. In regards to the other review on this page, claims that this venue are anything other than amazing are completely wrong. read more

This place has been an essential part of the Utah music scene for about a year now. And contrary to the statements "supporters" of one particularly destructive local band made, the NATIVE AMERICAN staff at this venue do not support white supremacy. They never have, and they never will. The Boardwalk is so incredible! They create such an amazing concert experience, featuring great bands and providing an awesome sound for everyone to hear! This place is easily the best local venue right now in Utah. My band, Southernmost Gravy, has played there multiple times and each time, it's been filled with energy and love from the crowd and workers there. The workers are so nice and supportive (usually venue workers can be kinda trash) and it's just a super chill, friendly vibe. I'd highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking to play a show or to just attend some concerts! read more

I went there to watch a concert the other night and they at the Boardwalk were organized and sanitary. They made check in smooth, and easy. They were kind and courteous, great place for some local entertainment. Me and some of my friends and family had an enjoyable time!!! Thanks for having your facility for so many to enjoy!! As both an artist and a concert goer, I absolutely love the Boardwalk. The sound system is super well-balanced, and the staff are all courteous and expert in their fields. The sound engineers were incredible to work with. As well, this venue is making sure people have a safe experience through Covid by offering special seating for those who might be more at risk for Covid. This venue is a dream to go to! Good venue. Don't believe negative reviews. Asking someone to wear their mask during a pandemic, play only for stage time allotted and not to damage equipment is called being civilized. Attended a show last night and it was amazing. Idk what happened at the one performance that got the place one star, but whether it's true or not they probably learned a lesson and fixed some stuff because my experience last night was awesome. The Boardwalk is king! They consistently put on high energy shows with great local bands and produce great recordings for an affordable price. The managers are respectful and easy to work with, give great deals, and make the band feel welcome. I have been to the Boardwalk as a band and as an audience member, and both experiences were awesome. I highly recommend checking it out! read more

This venue is wonderful. My band "The Garden Plot" performed here a few months back. All of us agree it's our favorite venue we've played in Utah. Owners are super nice and mixing actually sounded really really good. The stage and the lighting is a great set up too. Definitely want to book more shows here. The boardwalk sound is an incredibly professional music venue. Logan and his wife are so nice and were amazing to work with. This is a great place for practice and rehearsals. They run a full PA for your practices so you can hear how everything sounds in a show setting. Super friendly staff who is always down to help and very knowledgeable about all things sound. it's affordable and we love practicing here. read more

Some old garage surrounded by storage buildings and mechanic shops was turned into the coolest and as of right now, the only music venue in Orem. The owner and awesome bands and audience are what makes the best memories here and also a super cool recording studio! read more
