We stopped in here for lunch. It's a cute little restaurant / snack shop. Our food was very good and the price was reasonable as well.

Ol' Joes Cafe is Better. This place isn't awful, but it's honestly too much of a wait and money for the food.

My parents live in Loraine and we've been here a couple of times now…read more It's a cute little shop in C-City (Colorado City) and it's nice that the locals have nice, cute, quiet place to go sit and of course it's conveniently located downtown. We were there around breakfast time and walked right up to the counter, placed our order and paid, and the young lady was very polite, professional, and nice. We did order food and coffee, there is a great selection of breakfast plates and some muffins and coffee selections. We got the green scrabble and the ranchero-everything was fresh, hot and came out quickly-within five minutes of us, finding a seat and sitting after getting our drinks. Food was tasty and again the young lady that was at the counter, came up to our table and asked if we needed anything else! All in all, customer, service, quality, ambience were great! We'll definitely return, as this is our go to end favorite place in town to go when we are here! Please support small businesses!!

That was a happy start of the day. We in turn gave our waitress a nice tip. She was happy. The meal was simple eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast. My wife had a omelette with bacon. Coffee was excellent. Nice rich taste which was refilled without asking. Sometimes we can make people feel happy. Now that is something we should do everyday. Enjoy!

U Wouldn't believe this place is attached to a Sewell Ford dealership. What a great place to wait out a service appointment. I had a Chick sandwich bowl. The staff was more than happy to accommodate my request for lettuce over bread. My Americano coffee was just right. My niece had a Press Club sandwich and a Mixed Berry smoothie. She liked both but felt the sandwich had too much meat. Not a bad thing in my opinion. My bestie had an acai bowl she enjoyed and that was absolutely beautiful from my viewpoint. She also ordered some fries to go that I was able to try. They were so good it was hard to stop eating them. They seemed to be freshly cut potatoes that were well seasoned and cooked to just the right temperature, which provided the perfect balance of crunch and softness. It's very easy to eat healthy here, be bad or a bit of both if you want. My friend's vegan, I'm mostly keto and my niece loves it all but tries to eat what she knows is good for her. Press Cafe satisfied all our palates. Also, they have/had a Ted Lasso pastry! Love! Could it be the same one he welcomed Rebecca with in her office every morning? Hmm.

Definitely not your address cafe at a dealership! Great sandwiches and sides and coffee. Parking is…read morea little challenging but worth it.

If you're anywhere near Lamesa, TX, or just passing through West Texas like we were on the way from…read moreSan Antonio to Santa Fe, do yourself a favor and stop at Mesa Coffee. This place is a gem. Mesa Coffee is set inside a beautifully converted auto shop, and they absolutely nailed the transformation. High ceilings, exposed wood beams, clean modern finishes, warm textures, and plenty of natural light. It feels intentional without feeling pretentious. The kind of place you immediately relax in, whether you're staying for five minutes or an hour. The coffee is genuinely great. Not just "good for a small town," but well-made, balanced, and clearly crafted by people who care about what they're serving. You can tell they're serious about quality without being over the top about it. What really stood out was the space itself. There's room to sit, work, talk, or just breathe for a minute. Cozy seating areas, thoughtful design touches, and an atmosphere that feels welcoming instead of rushed. It's the kind of place locals should be proud of and travelers will remember. They've only been open about nine months, and honestly, it already feels like a cornerstone spot. If you live in Lamesa and haven't stopped by yet, this is your sign. And if you're just passing through West Texas, this is absolutely worth the detour or exit off the highway. Mesa Coffee is proof that great coffee shops don't only exist in big cities. Sometimes they show up right when and where you least expect them. Highly recommend.

Mesa Coffee Co. is in the little town of Lamesa, TX…read more My daughters and I went here on 7.19.2025. It reminded me of Marfa (also in Texas) and the art vibes there. Loved it! The decor was Southwest meets cowboy meets modern art and furniture. The ceilings were very high and had wood built into them. If the multiple indoor seating arrangements with summer air-conditioning don't appeal to you, plenty of outdoor seating was available. I tried one of their July concoctions of everything I already loved... a hot "wild butter bill latte": butter pecan syrup, salted caramel syrup, and half & half. The kids were split on their lattes but I tried theirs too & they were great albeit iced. All 3 16-oz. drinks combined came out to $17.69. There were food items, but we weren't hungry. On our cups, the employees wrote sweet messages like "Have a fa-brew-lous day" & "Jesus loves you!" There were separate men's & women's restrooms. Very clean! TIP Drive-thru available. I'm a huge fan!
