It was twice the size I'd asked for, had over 20 roses (one of two flowers I'd asked not to be included), and tightly packed (instead of loose and organic). I left panicked, ashamed to question that florist and didn't know what to do. As a hail Mary, my (now) husband suggested I bring that bouquet to the Hilliard Floral Design for "surgery" to see if there was anything they could fix. Meg, Chris, and Jess were so kind, patient, and understanding about the situation-- within seconds of seeing my inspiration board on Pinterest- immediately understood exactly what I was going for. (They also educated me that some of the flowers the original florist included were rotten as well!) Because of how the bouquet was constructed - they said they'd have to disassemble and recreate the whole thing. For an incredibly reasonable price, I left it in their hands- and in about an hour got the call it was ready-- Seeing the re-finished bouquet (repurposing the original flowers with some replacements), I was absolutely moved to tears. He looked for florist nearby, contacted connell, and lucky enough, they still had the red roses available. So, he got the bouquet in a beautiful clear vase from here. The vase was neatly secured and had the two heart balloons attached to it. There was no spill in the way home. I forgot to take the picture before unpacking the vase. I loved the flower arrangement, and they stayed fresh for at least a week. I am really impressed with their service and will definitely get flowers for the next occasion.
