She chose to go to the Plastic Surgery Group. My mother's doctor was Dr. Leadbetter. He was a cheery guy wearing an Ohio State head wrap. Now for the interesting piece of trivia. Dr. Leadbetter's hobby is sculpting. Not people, stone! It kinda makes you feel better about the guy sculpting your body huh? Besides the fact that this place is the business of taking people in, chopping them up, and then sending them off, they did a good job with my mom. She is very happy with the results. Karen, the nurse who took care of my mom, has a great personality and she really bonded with my mom during her pre and post-op appointments. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was that directly after the surgery, sure they gave her a chance to wake up from the anesthesia, she was rushed to get dressed and get out. The woman just had major surgery! This angered me a little, I mean they had just cut her open! Everyone should think twice about getting plastic surgery. The healing process is hard. However, sometimes it is needed for health reasons. In either case, you'll be in good hands at this facility.

I was assured that I would not lose enough breast tissue for anyone to notice. I kept getting told i was getting a lift. Not a reduction. I secured financial responsibility and had all my visits to prepare for my surgery. On August 30th i went under the knife. Dr Steven Robinson didnt even have the decency to go and talk to my husband who was waiting for me. He called him. Very Unprofessional in my opinion. We had just spent $12,000. It would have been money well spent had he done his job and did it good. 20+ years "Dr" Robinson had been cutting into people and somehow I was the one that got butchered. My incisions were deep, crooked, he overlapped causing a crease in my skin under my arms and my left breast incision had been coming open and infected. I had to buy butterfly bandages to pull incision back together and that didn't even work. Not to mention I literally bled from my incisions for weeks. I went into surgery a DDD and came out a D....but I "didnt" get a reduction. I became very self conscious and didn't leave the house for 6 months. I had always been a big chested girl until Robinson cut into me. I had spoke to the office manager about getting some money back as all I had gotten out of this was a botched surgery and scars that will last a lifetime. (Not a lift) One of my scars (now that it's been almost 2 years) is literally 1.5" wide. I wanted a lift to feel sexy and now I'm scarred for life. I dont feel sexy i feel ugly and damaged. I couldn't wait any longer so I went to The Plastic Surgery Institue in Dayton where I got 440 cc's implants put in just to get back to a DDD. How did I get that big of implants if he didnt remove any tissue? After going back and forth with the office they refused to pay me anything. I even told the office manager about my implants. I asked how did I have to get that big of implants to get back to my size before surgery if he hadnt removed tissue. She didnt have any answer. I highly recommend you NOT have Robinson do anything for you. He obviously needs to retire! **I tried to post some pics but for some reason its not working.

After 18 months and multiple consultations with different surgeons I met Dr. Kuy. My initial consultation with Dr. Kuy and his patient coordinator, Aimee, was so informative and thorough, and I immediately felt comfortable with them. That says a lot after spending that much time researching and meeting with other surgeons. I actually scheduled my surgery that day because I felt so confident in Dr. Kuy and his team. Aimee was wonderful, she set clear expectations for what would happen next, when I would be contacted, and how I should prepare. Ellyn, the nurse handling my pre-op care, was equally fantastic. She contacted me exactly when promised, provided precise instructions for my pre-op testing and medications, and followed up again before surgery to make sure I understood everything and was prepared. The organization and communication throughout the process were outstanding. The morning of surgery, I was nervous, but Wendie, the scrub tech, and Ellyn immediately put me at ease. They were kind, reassuring, and made what could have been an intimidating morning feel comfortable. Dr. Kuy came in to do my markings and answer any last-minute questions. He is incredibly kind, calm, and reassuring and has such an easy manner that makes you feel completely comfortable in his care. The entire team was also very kind and inclusive with my husband, which meant a lot to both of us. The recovery experience has been equally amazing. Ashleigh was wonderful, and I woke up with no nausea or complications. Dr. Kuy checked on me again before I went home and personally called me that afternoon to see how I was doing. That personal follow-up really stood out to me. I am now about 10 days post-op and have had little to no pain throughout my recovery. The staff has continued to be incredibly responsive to the few questions I've had, and I have always felt supported and well cared for. And then there are the results. They have far exceeded my expectations. I was told so many times during this process to have realistic expectations, so I mentally prepared myself for good, but not necessarily great. Well, they are amazing. 10/10. I am so happy that Dr. Kuy was able to achieve the results he did. They look beautiful, natural, and so much better than I ever expected. They are healing remarkably well, and I could not be happier. I know I am still early in the healing process, but I already feel incredibly confident that I made the right decision and chose the right surgeon. I cannot wait for my follow-up appointment, and I am secretly hoping my results are good enough that Dr. Kuy will want to use my before-and-after photos on his website! She has a bowl of color with only enough to do a retouch of roots and does that....then explains she has to get more color for the all over......I said ok. I said you told me 80.00 just yesterday......she said...."yes i know they told you that but its 95.00, I had to get another bowl of color" I course she did her first bowl was just the contents of a re-touch.....she knew that.....anyways, I paid her 95.00 and gave no tip. The sad thing is I'll never be back, since I have been home......2 neighbors have been informed and 1 friend that has called this evening......all of us live within 15 minutes of this salon.........so to get an extra 15.00 this place lost a return customer and now I am obligated to tell others......what a stupid business concept.......really!?!
