In the busy season they do book up so make your reservation early. Prime location right next to the pier. If you are on the beach side you will have an amazing view. Lots of places to eat within walking distance and a bunch of antique shops as well We were in room 202 which is an upstairs king room. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and liquid hand soap so no need to bring your own. Our room had a jetted tub The bedroom area has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, fireplace and 3 chairs to lounge in. They provide an extra blanket if you get cold. There is best but no A/C. However there is a box fan in the closet and a ceiling fan as well Outside you have a small balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Beautiful View. Just be careful eating outside as there are lots of seagulls However they were friendly All day in the lobby you can get hot tea and hot chocolate along with fruit and cereal. From 8 am to 10 am they add coffee. From 4 pm to 5 pm they have beer and wine available They also have sugars and creamers available Breakfast is included each morning. You fill out a card with your choices and drop it at the front desk before 5 pm the night before. You can also leave it hanging on your door. Each morning you can have a pastry or quiche, flavors change daily. They also have yogurt, hard boiled egg, fruit, orange juice or milk. We had the quiche each morning and they were delicious. You can also choose what time between 8 am and 10 am you would like it delivered. Each afternoon freshly baked cookies are placed in your door hanging in a cute bag. The oatmeal and chocolate chip were amazing. If you want excellent service and amenities then this should be your choice. Very personal service, amazing location and quiet. Cindy you are amazing thank you for everything.

They had appetizers ready for us and met us with a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. We then went down and enjoyed a tasting at the winery. We had some GF pizza which was amazing. Then in the morning they made us a delicious breakfast with mimosas. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable and the bathtub was a nice perk.

Perfect setting for an anniversary or just a weekend getaway! Cons: Beds need a topper and pillows are deflated. Although I love the inn my sleeping wasn't 5star. They usually have fresh cookies, however there were none this trip. It didn't bother me so much but I did hear 2 other guests expressing their disappointment. When you set the standard and have repeat guests it's expected... The cheese trays are usually over the top (and they were the first night). See picture- however we had an extended stay this visit and they declined severely the last night- that was a bummer because we were looking forward to it during the day. Keep in mind there is no food in the evenings so eat before you come back or bring something back. They have a large fridge with your own shelf, plenty of drinks and options for coffees as well as fresh fruit out all the time.

From the moment we…read morearrived, we were welcomed by Lisa Peach, who is one of the kindest, warmest people we've ever met. She immediately made us feel at home with her gentle spirit and genuine hospitality. We later met Rob, Lisa's husband, who was just as kind and welcoming. Lisa was especially sweet with our daughter--she spent time showing her around the farm, baking together in the kitchen, and exploring the beautiful herb garden. It meant so much to us to see that connection. The entire property is peaceful and stunning, with gentle rolling hills, goats, chickens, and cows (though we didn't spot the cows this time!). We also had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast most days with their wonderful chef, Dominique, who made such delicious food--everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was the perfect way to start each day. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations--from the thoughtful details throughout the property, to the calm, rejuvenating atmosphere. Kindred Oak Farm is a hidden gem that we will always hold close to our hearts. Thank you, Lisa and Rob, for a stay filled with kindness, connection, and unforgettable memories.

The grounds are beautiful and unique, featuring a lovely garden, expansive lawn and carefully curated outdoor patios overlooking valley views. Owners Neil and Gaye are not only hospitable, but excellent party planners and undercover gourmands. We were greeted us with sparkling ruby pomegranate mimosas, created as a signature drink for my party, and enjoyed a full bar, along with beautifully curated charcuterie board and hors d' oeuvres DJ Mackenzie kept the vibe perfect with her keen ability to dial into the crowd and give them exactly what they're looking for- during cocktail hour, dinner and especially with dancing. Just let her design the soundtrack to your party.... The fanfare ground to a halt as Gaye surprised me with a delicately flavored almond lemon cake topped with pistachio rose petal fondant icing. Having my birthday at this magical place was one my friends and I will never forget... If you're looking for a venue that stands out from the usual options and offers a refined yet welcoming atmosphere, I can't recommend Lilac Farm enough. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
