These people won't be upfront and honest about whether there is pesticide in their product. The lady at the farmers market said she didn't know and to call the business, which I did. The lady "Hilary" who answered said she did not know if they test for pesticides either. Very suspicious! They are also very unfriendly. I would support other local beekeepers if I were you. read more

What a lovely place. Stopped in here after visiting Yashu Massage down the street (so good) and was pleasantly surprised. Full disclosure I have never been to a honey store even though this one and others are fairly close to my home because honestly I thought I would be priced out because it was so expensive..... boy was I wrong. This place is so affordable, good quality items and of course the honey... to die for! This place had so many items to look, touch, and but that I was going through sensory overload. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped with all of our random questions. We were able to taste the honeys we wanted to buy prior to purchasing and the associate also gave some great recommendations on what to eat it with. 10/10 would recommend and can't wait to return to scoop up some more goodies. read more

They have several products and the shop was very cute. We purchased honey and a few accessories. The staff were so nice and welcoming. Before we left they offered us some free honey sticks. A shop that carries local honey, hooray! I finally used up this giant liter of honey I got in Nevada City and needed more for my tea. I've always seen this spot while biking around East Sacramento but never stopped by until now. The person working the cash register was super lovely and answered all the questions I had about their different honeys. I left with a raspberry and a local wildflower honey. Can't wait to come back and grab their bee pollen when I run out. They also carry a ton of beekeeping supplies if you have or want to start an apiary. Maybe one day... Stoked to have wandered inside. I love being able to get some local honey here. There's so much variety with many different honey flavor options. There's even an organic one too. My favorite is local wildflower which has a subtle hint of floral. The staff here is very knowledgeable and friendly. They do sell other things other than honey such as beeswax candles. It's such a cute shop as well. Everything is packaged very nicely and is great for giving as gifts. I like coming here to get some honey as a gift as well as for myself. Ive been told by quite a few people about local honey and bee pollen would help for my allergies. I've been researching and found this place on yelp and decided to go pick some up. Came on a Saturday early morning and it was very easy to find. The lady that helped me gave me a lot of great information. I bought 2lbs of local wild honey and bee pollen. Hoping this will work for my allergies. But if it doesn't it's okay I think I found my place to get honey. :) Once this pandemic is over I would love to visit and be able to explore around the shop. The woman working there made sure to explain things in detail (their queen boxes are a bit different, so it was helpful), and they were quite friendly and helped me carry them to my SUV. I love locally sourced Honey to use for medicinal consumption, tea, on bread, bananas + PB snacks, Elvis veggie burgers, etc. I even grew up around Bee Keeping families in the (Oakdale) area as a child. Bee Box carries many products that I haven't personally used, but what enjoy most is being able to visit monthly, bring in my glass bottle, refill it with ease (usually about $6 per refill) and sample anything that may be new or in rotation. The Bee Box is an absolute gem. My husband suffers from allergies so we checked this spot out on Saturday. The girl working was super knowledgeable and gave us a few honey samples to try. So yummy ! You can bottle your own honey straight from the dispensers or purchase pre filled jars. We ended up with some Becker Honey, Becker Pollen and a raw honey comb. There's an actual active hive hanging near the register .. pretty cool. They also have everything you need to start your own hive . I stopped by here because my coworker recommended it. I love honey and always look for natural honey. I also bought a few jars as gifts to my inlaws. I love the local flowers and whistles. Review long overdue. I went into the store midweek on a late afternoon in May. There was only one girl there & while she was helpful she kept running to the phone because it was ringing off the hook. We unfortunetly didn't really get into talking about bees much which is something I wanted but hey I get it. Purchased: a big glass container of the sage honey, mild in sweetness, can go with anything. I also really liked the wildflower honey but it was too bold for what I wanted. FYI if you bring in the glass container to refill you can get a little discount! Also: bee pollen for allergies. I suggest you start taking it once your home otherwise fully expect your sneezing to go into overdrive while at work. Inconvenient so, I'd rather sneeze like crazy at home. Such a cute store!! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile :) a lovely lady helped us out picking out the right honey for our project. She was super knowledgeable and we ended up grabbing some pollen and royal jelly after we learned about the many health benefits! Love this place! The parking lot in the back is great. We were the only ones in there on a Saturday afternoon. The girl that helped up was super informative and helpful.
