This course was very fun to play, the tee boxes weren't perfect but they weren't horrible, and at least they were level. The fairways and greens were in great shape! My wife and I really enjoy playing this local golf course. The staff is friendly and helpful, the fees are reasonable, and its easy to book tee times. A lot of attention and work has taken place this Spring. The bunkers have been revitalized, the fairways widened, and the grass regularly mowed. Kudos to the maintenance team. The course has elevation changes and the terrain challenges even the consistent ball strikers. Walking the front nine is easy while the back nine will give your legs a work out. A fun layout though. Sam, the new PGA golf pro, is helpful and friendly. The food and beverage service, provided by the Long Reach Kitchen and Catering company is excellent. Their staff is also friendly and helpful, the menu is varied, and their drink menu is fun. All and all, a great local golf course. The PGA may never play at the Bath Golf Club but it is a fun place. This place is an absolute joke of a golf course. It may have had potential about 30 years ago, which is probably the last time this place was mowed. At 2:00pm, on a Tuesday in May, it cost $72 with a cart to play 18 holes. It's crazy to me that a golf course is okay with charging $72 for tee boxes and "fairways" that look like this. They should've been selling maps in the Pro Shop so we knew where the rough stopped and the fairway started. I have never written a Yelp review, but had to write one with how much of a rip-off this course is. read more

This is a great course and very well maintained. The greens are bigger than most courses I have been to and on a dryer day they are very fast. It's a very challenging 18-hole course with hazards that can eat up your game if you are not careful. This course is certainly not for beginners but a great test to those who have a higher handicap and want to work on their ball control. Their bar and grille had some AWESOME burgers that were juicy and certainly hit the spot after a round on the course. I would definitely come back to this place but be sure to call ahead and schedule a tee time because they fill up quick and they do have leagues throughout the week. read more

This is my go-to club when I'm staying in the Bath area! The new owners (Resurrection Golf) are doing great things with the property and with improved customer service. The course was in great shape last year, booking tee times online is a snap. I'm looking forward to the spring and getting back out there. I also took advantage of purchasing their Preservation Pass which allows you to play some of the other area courses that they own/operate. read more

I beg you -- DO NOT Book this site for a function! I recently attended a function at this place. Never again! My group has used this place in the past with excellent results. This time was a horrible experience. People in the bar were so noisy that our speakers had trouble being heard even with a sound system that we had to provide ourselves. There were no decorations on the walls of the function room just empty hooks. In the past the place had been nicely decorated and the upstairs bar was closed. They used a bar in the lower level. This time we were told that the lower level was no longer being used. The chairs provided were not standard banquet chairs, but flimsy folding ones. Some of our guest did not feel safe sitting in them. We were not able to indicate which entrance our guest should use and the keynote speaker entered through a maze to get to the function room. We did not feel welcomed by the staff. It felt like we were in the way of something more important. I spoke to a member who was being very loud in the bar and was rudely informed that she had right to be so loud because of her membership. Our group will go elsewhere next year taking about $2,00 of income from this place as it is so poorly run now. The food was good - the only good thing about the evening. read more

I got back into playing this year and I played here a number of time this year. The course is still challenging but it seemed easier then I remember. I'll be back to play this course more next year close to work and home. read more

We had our wedding at the Bath Country Club in June. It was everything we could have asked for and more. Ryan, the food and beverage director, was available to us the entire time we were planning our wedding. He answered every question that we had and went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly. He worked with us and was flexible enough to let us come in and decorate a couple of days before. The chef made the most delicious food for our wedding...we are still getting compliments on how good everything was. The club itself is beautiful and has gorgeous views. I would have my wedding there again in a heartbeat. The staff is professional and kind, as well as fun. They made everyone feel welcomed and helped in every possible way. If you are looking for somewhere to have a wedding...this is definitely the place. I can't say enough good things about the Bath Golf Club! read more

Great fun with good friends from VT earlier this week at Bath Golf Club. We played in the afternoon. Perfect weather, beautiful old course. Cocktails on the porch at sunset after. We will recommend this course to anyone looking for a friendly, fun place to play golf. Excellent value. read more
