He cried in pain, whimpered for days and I felt so guilty and thought I would never do that to a dog again. I found out about Dr Acker and found out how recommended he was for this surgery. So we drove the 8h to meet him. I was amazed! His sincerity eased my mind, he took alot of time explaining the surgery, showed us pictures and post operative care etc. We went ahead to surgery. She is doing great, still needs more time for rehab before hikes etc BUT I personally was so impressed with her pain control. It was managed so well, Dr Acker performed a femoral nerve block during surgery, she had a fentanyl pain patch afterward, anti-inflammatory pain pill and a nerve pain pill Neurontin. We were so very impressed with Dr Acker and his team I highly recommend them for your pet family if you need him.

I'm still finding scabs from where they cut him. When I went to pick up my dogs, they handed me two receipts. I paid & went home. I get a call 20 minutes later saying I need to come back to pay for one of my dogs. Apparently, they gave me the wrong invoice & it was all my fault. I tried explaining to the lady that it's not my issue they handed me the wrong invoice & that i was not coming back for HER mistake. She got extremely rude with me & blocked me in their system. Mind you, I take my dogs to petsmart every 8 weeks to get their hair cut. I buy all their food, treats & toys there. I have NEVER had an experience like this before. I travel the country full time so I go to new petsmarts every time. DO NOT GO HERE.

However, Happy Hound Biscuits made bringing our pup on our vacation possible, while still allowing us to do all the fun non-dog things on our vacation too! She was so sweet and sent lots of photos of our doggo to us, giving us updates throughout the day. She also gave our pup one on one attention and care similar to if our dog was at home! She even gave her some free treats that our dog LOVES! We bought a bag for ourselves and use it even after our vacation has concluded. 10/10 would use Tina again if/when in Oregon :)
