However, my favorite part was the bakery. We tried the cranberry-lime poppyseed bread. I enjoyed it because it was not too sweet and the cranberries baked into it were delicious. My daughter had the lemon meringue tart and said it was good but a little dry. She enjoyed her big vanilla sprinkled macaron though. My absolute favorite was the seasonal offering of a strawberry-rhubarb tart. I cannot say how much I loved this pastry. It was perfect from the filling to the crust. The filling didn't taste like it had any added sugar and the strawberries served as the sweet to the tart of the rhubarb. The crust was light and you could see the layers that were just firm enough but melded perfectly with the pie filling. There was a brown sugar oatmeal and butter crumble on top that added all the sweet you need.
