I was there on a trip and went in. A nice girl named lauren greeted me. As I was shopping an older lady who claimed to be the manager Debra rudely interrupted and pushed lauren off to the side... Debra didn't help with what I wanted. Seemed very odd, almost like she doesn't know how to smile. She tried very hard to sell me something, very pushy and not genuine. I tried to approach lauren again when Debra said no no "hun" I can help you. Being called "hun" is so unprofessional and degrading. I heard her say it several times. If I was the owner of this shop and Debra was the manager I would demote or fire for such rude behavior. A shame such a cute store could instantly be ruined be someone's horrible personality... I'll be returning to the store to see Lauren to be helped in a proper friendly way. Hopefully Debra isn't there! read more

This has to be the finest place in Ketchum to shop for anything. Not overpriced like most of the other stores in town (the Sun Valley name tax...). We just stumbled into this store as we toured town (looking like the out-of-town tourists we were). What a gas it is to wander through this store! To be a bit clichéd, "If they don't have it in THIS store, it probably isn't made". There's aisle after aisle of stuff. Don't come in here if you're way overweight, because you won't fit down the aisles. No joke. There's a 'wall of stuff' that has darned near every kitchen gadget ever made, and two or three different styles of each one. Yup. You can't help but find something you didn't know you needed - until you saw it hanging up on 'the wall'. As an added bonus, everyone who works here is uber-friendly. They can't do enough for you. We over-worked this one poor gentleman as we tried to decide between two different styles of insulated cooler/picnic container. Pull the one down to inspect, then pull another one down. Put them both back. Then come back in a few minutes to look at one of them again, then pull the other down and look at IT again. We did this numerous times (to the point where I was SURE he was going to explode - but he just kept his sense of humor about it all), until we finally DID decide on one and actually bought it. We checked the on-line prices right there using our phones and found them to be right in line with this particular product. What a shock for Sun Valley! The rest of the merchandise is fairly priced too. So, if you're in the Ketchum area (living or visiting), this should be your headquarters for anything 'kitchen' or even CLOSE to 'kitchen'. Next time we're up here vacationing, we'll head back here for sure, cuz we KNOW we'll find something we didn't even know we needed... read more

Nice shop and merchandise. Has everything for your kitchen needs and more. This issue I have here is with one of the employees who always manages to make our shopping experience unpleasant. Whether it's a condescending tone or literally watching us when we walk around the shop, as if we're going to break or take something. I still continue shopping there when a need arises, but I sure wish this employee would get a refresher on customer service. For example, we bought a $100 salt & pepper grinder set recently, before paying, I wanted to open the box and check the shakers to make sure they were ok and she had some snooty remark to the effect of, "Well I would HOPE that this company would send us products that are ok." I ignored her and opened the box anyway. As a customer, I have the right to inspect what I am buying to make sure the product is in great shape. Sure enough - the box I had chosen, the shakers had some dings. I bought another set. Hopefully management sees this and passes along the feedback to their employee, name starting with D. read more

They'll call you a liar (that it still works) and they won't honor return policies.
