En este punto ya había cortado el lado derecho, así que no tuve más remedio que dejar que cortara el resto. Mi cabello pasó de estar en mi cintura a por encima de mis hombros y ella simplemente dijo que eso es lo que son las capas largas. No tengo licencia de esteticista, pero cualquiera que corte el cabello de una mujer sabe lo que son las capas largas y lo que significa que no sean cortas. Sobre todo cuando has indicado lo largo que quieres conservar. Mi padre le hizo saber al propietario -el cual no se disculpó ni dijo nada en absoluto. No había ningún sentido de empatía o demostraban que les importaba. ¡La mujer sabe cuánto tarda en crecer el cabello y cortarlo más de la mitad es un cambio drástico! Esto es inaceptable y algo que debe tenerse en cuenta, especialmente siendo el propietario a quien recomiendas para cortar el cabello de tu cliente. Definitivamente no vuelvo y no recomiendo a nadie que regrese para cortarse el cabello de una mujer a menos que quiera que le salga un poco de cabello. Si pudiera no pondría estrellas.

He works precise and that takes time. A haircut is 60, shaving costs you 70. Pesos!!! That's about $4 to $4.50 - unbeatable! His shop is located in about 4 minutes walking distance from the arc, the famous landmark in Avenida Revolución, direct in the center of the Zona Norte. It's a tiny shop, not fancy at all. It's a typical Mexican barber shop, so do not expect a location that's like a barber in a 5-star hotel. But you'll get a 6-star barber. Luis makes the difference! I never had a better barber in my life. He speaks English and Spanish and he is the friendliest guy I ever met. And that in a profession, where nearly all the guys are friendly! His haircuts are outstanding and it's a pleasure to get a close shave.

I tried walking in and was told the wait would be 20 minutes, so instead I made an appointment and came back. The lady who cut my hair was very friendly and attentive to my needs. She was patient and checked in to make sure she was cutting the right length. Without asking for it, I also got a back massage, a hand massage, my nails clipped and a quick facial. The hot towels put me to sleep. Complimentary drink offered, but soda or water only. All this for around MXN 350 (about $17 US).

The experience included haircut with style line, beard trim, straight razor neck shave and behind the scalp for hairline, mini massage, manicure while getting my shave, hair wash to get all the loose hair out, then styled again afterwards, sugar scrub on hands, lotion afterward, beard balm, and the works.
