It rained hard today before my appointment and I came in anyway because I'd already made the appointment. Christina is such a sweetheart. I told her I was going to Starbucks afterwards to get work done out of the rain and she refused to accept tip and said to use it for coffee. She pointed out my previous stylist had cut my hair unevenly, with the right side of my hair slightly longer than my left. She knows her stuff. Just texted Jimmy to let him know how great she is. Looks like Christina just got a new loyal customer.

Christina and I had a slight misunderstanding about what I wanted, but the main issue was how rushed my haircut felt. The cut is uneven throughout, and one side was left noticeably longer than the other. I'm extremely disappointed with the result. I understand the importance of running a busy business, but quality and consistency are just as important in earning and keeping returning customers. Sadly I won't be coming back.

Our barber Ashley was finishing up with her client. So we sat and the barber working across from us introduced himself and all the other barbers. Everyone was super friendly and nice. They definitely made us feel welcome!!! Ashley was very sweet and did a great job with my sons hair. We've had a hard time finding a barber that will cut it the way he wants. From the very first haircut, he cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it. Fernando has now been cutting my hair for about seven years, and in all that time, the quality and service have remained exceptional. Fernando runs the barbershop by himself, and you can tell he truly cares about his customers. He takes pride in his work and goes above and beyond for his loyal clients. Even when it's getting close to closing time, he does his best to take care of you. Now that's a barber who cares about his customers and not just dinner time! The shop has that great old-school barbershop feel that's hard to find anymore. There's usually a game on the TV, good conversation, plenty of laughs, and Fernando is always willing to jump into the conversation. I was skeptical on trying a new salon because I had only put Paul Mitchell and redken products in my hair but I'm soooo happy I tried this place out!! I love aveeda! Mel sat me down and explained everything she would be doing on my hair. She then would explain the products she was using and telling me exactly what was going on! After getting the color put on, I sat down to get rinsed.. usually that's my least favorite part because it hurts my back and neck but the rinse chairs they have are so comfortable!
