Walked in. One worker, one person in the chair. She says hi one minute. We waited almost half an hour for her to finish and a guy walks in. She says he has an appointment. Not one time while waiting did she mention she had an upcoming appointment. Just flirted (in my opinion) with the client and tried to give a card to come back. Why would we ever come back and spend money at a place that would allow people (in an empty shop) to sit for half an hour with a toddler and not say a word about the availability. I unfortunately did not have a good experience here. While it was nice that they got me in on short notice, the person who I had an appointment with (Tony) did not end up cutting my hair, and instead I got someone else named Dennis. I requested a trim and told him I didn't want to take too much off for length, I was more interested in reducing the thickness of my hair. I have curly/wavy hair and like it a little longer so the curls can show. I showed him this picture for how I wanted the back, and I think it's pretty clear it's not even close to what I asked for. Dennis didn't really check in on me and ask about lengths or how I was feeling about the cut throughout either. The shop is clean and friendly, but I didn't feel listened to and I'm really unsatisfied with the outcome of my haircut, especially with a big event coming up. read more

I took my VERY WIGGLY, sensitive, and shy 4 year old to see Daniel this morning for his first barber shop cut. My son has been very nervous about this for a long time but he finally agreed IF he could get a lightning bolt. We got right in, the guys were very welcoming, Daniel did a great job with my son and was very gentle and patient with his constant squirminess. Misael was awesome. My son has the most beautiful curly hair but he wanted a "boys" haircut so i took a chance and went here. The atmosphere is chill and the barbers are super sweet. Came today for the first time. Understandable they are busy since salons just reopened due to Covid. We made a schedule mistake and missed our original apt time as I tried to book using the online app. Totally our fault but they were able to accommodate us later and ensured we had a positive experience. We had Gabe do my son's cut and it had been a full year since his last haircut. I was not about to do the mom cut mid quarantine ha. They gave him a fresh fade and pomp and my kid looks like a brand new one. Super friendly. Super accommodating. Stellar cut. Can't beat that. We will for sure be back. read more

We went in for the first time for my 10 year old son and met Daniel. He was great and gave my son a great haircut. Daniel asked a lot of questions to understand what cut my son usually got and what we wanted to get this time around. He was patient with this mom who knows little about boy cuts and he was very personable too which made my son feel comfortable. The shop is clean and spacious with some great tunes playing. Jason was really welcoming and respectful. Asked me what style I was looking for and was understanding of my preference. We had some great conversation. Cut came out perfect, nothing rushed, took his time and made sure I was happy with the result. I walked in talked with the guy, told him what I wanted, how I wanted the back of my shoulder length hair shaped, and he cut it all off, said there was still hair, but it was neck hair! Awesome barbershop in downtown Gilroy! It's open, well ventilated and all the barbers were wearing masks. My son was in need of a haircut and it was super easy to book an appointment online. We had the pleasure of having JR cut my son's hair and he did an amazing job. His hair looks on point and sharp! If I had hair I'd definitely come to this place for a snip. I went in there once, told misael what I wanted and he still remembers what haircut I want. After my first cut he said "same cut?" And it was the same cut. I like when barbers are consistent with cuts and I like when they know what a low fade is. The other guys cut good as well but I'm making misael my go to barber.
