When I walked into the second floor and saw the built-in pool ahead of me, my mind was blown. I don't think I've experienced a two-story building with a built-in pool on the second floor like this one. I'm definitely going back for an event that involves this beautiful pool. There are many different rooms each with its own them. Crystals, buddha, salt room, meditation, yoga, massage, and so much more. As soon as I entered this establishment I felt relaxed...instantly. I came here for a workshop on cultivating feminine friendships which was amazing. I was honored to be able to sell my books and have a book signing as well after this workshop was over. So blessed. 3 of us went for lunch and drinks, Drinks are measured shots, small martini glasses. According to waitress Misty, very nice and informative, it was the first day of the lunch menu. I have been in Banyan twice, the first time was amazing, the two women at the front (one was the owner) were very nice and informative. The second time I went into Banyan the door was left open and me and my friend were in the store by ourselves for more than 10 minutes. The owner did come in eventually and again she was very pleasant and informative, even gave us free classes for the awkward time. We will DEFINITELY be back! I took a shakti dance class at the Banyan House last night and the experience was excellent from start to finish! I was greeted by their super friendly staff, who wished me a (and sung me!) happy birthday. The space is simply lovely -- beautifully decorated and scented, with tons of good vibes and ambience. I also enjoyed the shakti dance class, my first. And get this, on my way out, staff gave me a birthday hugs, well wishes and gifts! Banyan House offers a traveler's special for tourists like me and this gives you access to their many classes. The Banyan House is such a special place. Claudia, the owner, has built a beautiful space with so many wonderful events, classes, and services. My favorite class is Buti Yoga with Kim on Mondays. So much fun! This past weekend, I rented the space to host a baby shower for a friend. We had a 45 minute yoga class followed by a beautiful sound healing led by Lindsey. Dana and the rest of the Banyan House Staff were so incredibly helpful. Every guest was in awe of how unique and special the space was. If you are looking for a unique space to hold your next event whether it be a baby shower, birthday, corporate team building, etc. Look no further! The staff is amazing, there is plenty of parking, and the space really has such great energy. This summer, they will be opening a larger event space next door to their current studio.
