I had three appointments with this dermatologist and the third one was enough to realize that that not only is this practice incompetent they have no respect for your schedule or your time. You may arrive at your appointment and then have them tell you that it is canceled and they will have to reschedule. You can count never seeing Dr Skopit but only residents in training. You can count on never being seen on time with an average wait time after your appointment schedule of 30 minutes to an hour. And most importantly they may misdiagnose you so please GET A SECOND OPINION especially if it's invasive surgery. They scheduled me for a Mohs surgery for a simple wart on my nose! This place is super clean and you can tell that it is a new building. The receptionist is super sweet and has great customer service. They offer facials and other service that is not covered from your insurance which is really cool they offer this as well. The service was quick and Doctor Skopit was super professional and friendly. If I could rate this office ZERO stars I would. This isn't my first review but it will be my last. I have been a patient since it opened. The patient care has decreased tremendously. They switch providers so much, you can't see someone consistently. You can NEVER speak to anyone in office, they forward all the calls to messages, medication refills, medical questions, prior auths, and request for medical record requests. No one returns calls until you make a review bashing how they have terrible customer service. I have been requesting this office to send my prior auth to my insurance since DECEMBER, requesting my medical records to go elsewhere since DECEMBER. Called the appointment line to request a prior authorization last week along with my medical records and the office manager who refused to speak to me relayed the message that I need a follow up appointment to get a prior authorization for a medication they prescribed me back in November (at my follow up) that I NEVER received because they dropped the ball. Not to mention I had a follow up appointment, they cancelled and then uncanceled and canceled again. so what am I following up on?? office is just MONEY HUNGRY. I have gone there now 3-4 times. This last time really horrible. A waste of time and money. Dr udhwani shouldn't be there!! I normally write down and concern I have to be ready when I go. When she appear in my room I told her this. She said, basically they are very busy and to pick 3 things only. Are you kidding m, why are you Not making the time for a patient. You Don't know me. In fact, I have never ever seen the actual Dr. I make appointments with. They only send Physicians assistant or nurse practitioner. BUT never ever not once the Doctor you choice. I said the script I want things my insurance covers. But NO, she sent something that is not covered at All. I asked for cream for burns when you are cooking. She said " apply Vaseline and if it takes longer than a week come to see if it's cancer" What the heck, I'm not getting sunburned, it's cooking burn. Why waste my time and money. So at the end I got nothing really resolved. She didn't give me the have time to go over my concerns. I called and complained and nobody at all bothered to call me about the problems. read more

Clean, new office in Dania Point area. Lots of parking, right off the interstate. Staff is always friendly and efficient. Everything is digital, so sign in is a breeze. The doctors have always been thorough and proactive. Great derm office, easy to get to, and a pleasure to work with. They offer all sorts of cosmetic stuff as well, but our visits are strictly medical. read more

Oh wow. They're pretty good on Google that's what brought me there but to have such a low score on Yelp is truly concerning. I also didn't have a good experience in this clinic I went through my insurance to check a bold spot (I ripped some of my hair in the front accidentally) they checked it for 2 seconds and said I don't need a steroid shot because they can see the small hairs growing. I was there for maybe 5 min, they also prescribed me a cream (I was asking about sunspots/pigmentation) that burnt my skin and irritated it. When I left I passed at the office and they assured me that I'll not be charged for the visit since I literally didn't get anything done. I had a relief just to later on get a bill in the mail and calls from their third party collection. I explained what I was told, it didn't help. I tried calling their office and left a message I believe twice already, but haven't heard back. read more

I have skin cancer issues and they were in my network. I scheduled an appointment and they saw me pretty quickly and they seemed careful in looking for any issues and they froze a few spots that could be a futre problem. About 2 months later I saw a few spots and I called to request another check up but I am told there is nothing availble for three months. read more

I have been to the office for two appointments. My second appointment I was prescribed a medication for my face which I asked to have sent to my local pharmacy rather than going through OptumRx because that way I could pick it up and get it sooner. Turns out that Medicare required that other medications be tried before they could approve the one that was prescribed for me. The fun begins... I have called the office 3 or 4 times in 6 days. I cannot get to speak to anyone and my calls have not been returned and they have not prescribed a different medication for me. Needless to say I am disgusted. The care I received in the office was fine but this is beyond ridiculous. Unfortunately Medicare only has two doctors on their list in the Miami area. I think I will have to try the other one next time I need to see a doctor which apparently will be on going since I have a condition on my scalp that can only be controlled with medication it cannot be resolved. read more

The worst customer service you will ever get trying to get an appointment. They use a call center which says that they'll call you back and never do. No matter how many times you call, you get the same empty answer. Do yourselves a favor a go elsewhere where you can interact with a Receptionist working FOR the Dr and not some call center with no business ethic. Stay away from them. read more

i had gone to Dania Dermatology four (4) visits for a check-up, during those visit, I never ever saw the same m.d. twice. I had an appt for 10:40am, I got to see the lady m.d. at 11:20am, yes, they are so" over booked" by their "Off site" reservation. Don;t ask for the same oerion, the off site does not know any of the 15 d.o. and m.d. who are suppose to see patients at the facility. or should I call it a "FACTORY". You will never see the "TOP DOCTOR" since he is never in the office. They have quite a system set up, for the patients to "'quietly wait and not complain". On my last, I Do mean my very last visit, I lleft with a huge "sore" on my check. I complained about the over- booking of clients. It appears that the service is great if you are purchasing their products however, my experience was not good. The nurse was amazing though and quite lovely, but the young doctor was condescending and spoke in terms I couldn't even understand despite me asking him to "dumb" it down for me. They did decide to call in a prescription for me which my pharmacy never got and despite two calls later to the office, I still don't have my prescription. My co pay was $135 for two minutes with a doctor with big words and no help and still no medication. I have left messages and no one seems to think they need to return my call. I will be looking for a new dermatologist for sure. read more

IF I could give it less than 1 star I would. The worst follow up customer service for a doctor I have ever experienced. Had a Biopsy done and could not get a call back to give me the results, called me back after 4 times of me calling. Now I am asking for the copy of the lab report and it is turning out to be more of the same. Zero accountability, the office manager wont come on the phone and you can't email a doctor to tell them how bad their office staff is making the practice look. I didn't know these people before seeking treatment from them. But they have treated me more like a close friend or favored family member than a typical patient. This medical facility since it opened not too long ago- I was one of the first patients - I have been a patient there a couple times- and every time I go there the manager's son who is a minor is romping around the medical offices- he lounges on the facility chairs and I have seen him on the medical facility's computers and also there when I was making an appointment today when I came to the facility for a consultation - the minor was behind the scenes where the patients - doctors and medical staff go to for medical information- I asked to speak to the manager about this- but I was told rudely and in a threatening manner to leave and that it was not my business- this is not what I see happening at other medical facilities where the medical staff bring their children to work and utilize the medical facility as a day care on a consistent basis- this is also dangerous for the child- germs and accidents - and of course liability issues- I will not ever step into this medical facility again - to conclude I am disappointed and also surprised that the doctors at this facility have let their staff behave in an unprofessional manner- I think it may also be due to them having residents( not full fledged doctors) roving in and out of this facility- in other words they dont have much to say read more

If I could give them negative stars I would! Surgery was scheduled a month after the initial diagnosis that a cyst on my back needed to be remove! United Healthcare and I called them several times in order to get preauthorization in order to have the surgery authorized; today is July 31, 2023, and nothing has been received by United Healthcare! The number of calls and messages are endless, and ZERO response! Tried to cancel the SURGERY today July 31, 2023, and all I get is the runaround. First, I was told that Sofia would get back in touch with me to cancel or to leave Doctor Skopit a voice message so he could cancel the appointment!!! Finally, after numerous calls an email showed up with the cancellation. Note: if you're employed by any Fortune 500 company or any major Airline DO NOT USE DANIA DERMATOLOGY.....they are just horrible on returning calls or working with your Insurance.....ALL YOU GET IS THE RUNAROUND!
