We ordered our cake from The Baker's Rhapsody and they brought my vision to life perfectly. Tasting pack made choosing easy, and the price was very reasonable. thank you!

I love this little bakery. The food is so tasty and the staff are really pleasant and friendly. It's the type of bakery where you can come alone to work or hang out with friends. They have a great variety of drinks and baked goods. I also love everything they are doing for Pride month as well :)

I absolutely love this place! They have made cookies for multiple wedding showers I've thrown (and my own) They've made cookies for my sisters baby shower and now mine! They also did my wedding cake and it was fantastic and STUNNING! They are so timely and respond quick. They're very accommodating. I drive 45 minutes to pickup our custom orders and it's so worth it. I always get a couple Pastries and coffee while I'm in there - it's so nice.

Strawberry banana smoothie and fruity pebbles cupcake

Strawberry and banana smoothie is my go to if I want something fruity. The fruity pebbles cupcake pair well with the smoothie. I love coming here every week for a drink or cupcake my favorite is the salted caramel

We ordered the special Christmas cookies that the kids could color on. We ended up using our own edible food markers but the cookies were great. Nice size, easy to color, and the kids thought they tasted wonderful. Great for something different. The coffee is also delightful. A little gem in downtown Dowagiac.

This cozy bakery is worth your time and money. It's gorgeous on the inside with brick walls and homey decor. They have a wide selection of pastries to choose from and the coffee was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful in narrowing down my pastry choice. I got a lemon blueberry scone which had a nice flavor that wasn't too sweet and the pastry itself wasn't too dry. This spot would be perfect to sit with a book and enjoy the low key atmosphere.

a cake decorated with the words congratulations peter

Ordered two cakes for our grandson's baptism, confetti cake and salted caramel. All I can say is 'no leftovers!' The cakes looked beautiful and they tasted amazing. Always fun to get a pastry and coffee when we pick up our order as well. This is a go to place in Dowagiac!

Comfy seating, yummy treats, great drinks, and friendly customer service!

Today though, I walked in thinking this might be it... my hunt for the best fired pizza in South Bend might finally be over. I saw the giant pizza oven and thought, "yeah, this is about to be serious." So naturally... I stayed for lunch. It was busy, but the self-serve kiosk made ordering easy. I went all in Pepperoni Pizza, Cheesy Garlic Bread, Chicken Noodle Soup, and Shrimp Diavolo. For a packed lunch rush, 15-20 minutes wasn't bad at all. Now... the pizza. I wanted to love it. I really did. But it just didn't show up. It was pretty bland overall, and most of the flavor came from the cupped pepperoni which tasted like something you'd grab off a store shelf. The sauce tried to make a comeback, but it got completely overshadowed. The rest of the food? Honestly solid. The Chicken Noodle Soup hit the spot, and the Shrimp Diavolo was actually really good. So yeah the pizza hunt continues. The oven might look impressive, but it's not ending anyone's search just yet. But the sweets? Still a slam dunk. -The interior was clean and the seating area is large.

I arrived in town earlier than expected after a 3-hour drive and was looking for something to eat…read moreand drink. Unfortunately, options were limited--mostly fast food and a few pubs that were closed at the time. This restaurant was open, so I decided to give it a shot. The place was nearly empty, aside from a few locals. It's a surprisingly large space, which only made the emptiness more noticeable. The tap list was underwhelming--mostly domestics like Bud and Busch, along with a heavy focus on IPAs (not my thing). I ended up ordering a Corona, but it was clearly skunked, likely from sitting too long--suggesting slow turnover and possibly overstocked inventory. I ordered the half rack of ribs with baked beans and their corn coleslaw. Unfortunately, the meal was disappointing. The ribs were lukewarm, dry, and lacked flavor. No BBQ sauce was brushed on or offered--which is surprising for a BBQ joint. The beans tasted canned, and the corn coleslaw, while creative in concept, just didn't work in execution. No pickles, no bread, no condiments--nothing to round out the plate. I get that this is a small town, but when you're the only BBQ spot around, there's a real opportunity to stand out. Sadly, this place missed the mark. I don't like leaving below-average reviews, but in this case, I had to be honest.
