While these hearings are common in FL, they are unheard of in most states so when I asked for help from the notaries at my banks, they were unwilling to assist. I found Hill Church Notary online and called Christine to explain my predicament. She was more than willing to do whatever she could to help. In fact, after she administered the oath for my telephonic hearing, she let me use her office phone during the entire 1.5 hour call. She made a very stressful situation much less painful with her positive attitude and helpfulness. I highly recommend Hill Church Notary. No one ever likes getting a speeding ticket. Seeing the red and blue lights flashing in your…read morerearview while you're enjoying your morning and trying to get some Christmas shopping done is definitely a buzz-kill. The good news is that if you happen to get pulled over in Limerick and happen to contest your ticket, the people behind the counter do their best to answer your questions and get you scheduled fairly quickly. I spoke with someone the day I got the ticket and she immediately told me I'd be able to mail in my hearing request since I had come in before the paperwork made it's way back to the office. Plus when I spoke with them on the phone, Pat always remembered who I was (I have a very distinct address I guess) and she did her best to help me schedule a hearing around my work schedule. Once my hearing finally rolled around, they had one officer covering all the hearings that day. It was early in the morning, so everyone was in a fairly good mood. The judge was also fair with the verdict and he and the officer dropped my points and my fine as result. The only thing that kind of sucks is that if you don't bring cash to pay your fine, they charge a $4 convenience fee to use a credit/debit card. I hope I won't be back any time soon; once is more than enough, no matter how pleasant the employees are!

I'm one of those people that dreads going to the post office. There's always one disgruntled person…read moreworking (no matter what location), usually at a snail's pace while a long line of people wait impatiently to be served and get on with their daily errands. However, this is one post office that I don't mind going to. John, the counter clerk, is always courteous and friendly. On this particular trip, he also saved me a great deal of cash. I was shipping a dress to Quebec, Canada via box (the only thing I had since I usually ship flat rate) when John informed me that it would cost $32 and there would be a more cost effective way (since the item was so light). So he pulled out a manila shipping mailer and sure enough it fit! In a matter of seconds, he reduced my bill from a possibly $32 to a mere $5.60! It's no wonder that people come from other areas (mostly Norristown and KOP) for the service John provides. Top notch!
