My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this B&B with our pup! We stayed in the Victorian Valentine room, which we found on Airbnb. It was charming, clean and spacious. The owners were extremely welcoming and the location is walking distance to sea glass beach and shops/restaurants. The homemade breakfast was delicious! Each morning, there was a huge spread... eggs, hash browns, homemade salsa, bacon, sausage, quiches, breakfast casseroles, apple dumplings (which were to die for), fruit, English muffins and so much more! There's also a cute courtyard/garden area where we enjoyed sitting in the early evenings with a glass of wine. Can't wait to stay here again! read more

Gale the manager is absolutely fantastic, helpful, friendly, and nice. Gracie, her dog is a real pleasure to see from a long trip away from home. The Atrium is a nice place we stayed in along a long trip up the coast. The Atrium is very homey and relaxed, but Gracie the "Goldie-Poo" made the Atrium fee like home. Gracie is very mellow and carries her teddy-bear around with her everywhere. She is the sweetest dog. Atrium is simple, good lodging and very comfortable. I decided last month that I needed a quick getaway from all the non-sense in life, and Fort Bragg/Mendocino seemed like a great place to drive off to and crash for a couple of nights. When looking around for a nice place to stay, I came across this B&B, and thought the price was great for the reviews it was getting. I reserved the "Buttercup" room because, well it was all that was left, and it was under 100 dollars a night! For a broke grad student like me, who really shouldn't be paying to stay anywhere but home, this was about as good as it got. When I got to the Atrium I was greeted by Gale, who had a huge smile and whose warm presence picked me up after spending the last 6-7 hours on highway 1. She showed me up to my room and told me that there would be fresh cookies downstairs shortly. Yay free food, what all grad students dream of :) The room was the smallest in the place, but was still a good size. Full bed with private attached bathroom, huge window, and a nice little dresser with TV and DVD player. Even had a little bowl on the dresser full of Dove Dark Chocolates! Gale did everything she could to make my stay here feel like home. She called around and found some places I could go try and watch the Washington/Oregon football game that night. In the mornings she cooked up a huge fresh breakfast, and even accommodated my dietary restrictions both mornings. There was the daily newspaper and a fresh pot of coffee downstairs both mornings, and the living room area was perfect for relaxing and reading the paper with sun pouring in the windows. Also, I loved her dog Gracie!! Sitting in a lounge chair with a paper, some coffee, and a dog running around, it was like I was transported back to my mom's house. The breakfasts consisted of egg dishes, a variety of breads (wheat, white, english muffins, cinnamon bread), scones, sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. Also very delicious orange juice both mornings! The atrium area between the two homes was really nice also. Gale was always so cheerful and conversational, and I loved talking to her in the mornings. I also thought it was great that even though I was a younger single traveler, in a place full of married couples, I never felt out of place, and felt welcomed even by the other guests. I will definitely stay here again if I ever come back to the Fort Bragg area, and I highly recommend it to my friends and fellow travelers!! read more

I loved my stay at the atrium. We had called ahead because we were going to be late for check-in and arrangements were made without a problem. We stayed in the Quilt room. It was cozy, quiet, and I got a good nights sleep. In the morning we walked through the atrium to the breakfast area, and greeted Gayle with a big hug. Breakfast was delicious both days, which included, coffee, fresh fruits, toast/english muffins, and a main course such as egg bake and sausages, with salsa. The first time my wife and I visited Fort Bragg we decided to stay at this little bed and breakfast. We had an overall very nice stay. The breakfast each more was phenomenal and the little breakfast eating area is really nice and cozy. The owner is extremely friendly and was very accommodating. If I remember right, the prices were very competitive as well. I wish the rooms were a little more current/updated. The fireplace is our room did not work which was kind of a bummer because that was one thing that lead me to choose that particular room. We also lost power on one of the nights we stayed there and the owner had left so we were kind of left in the dark for a while until the breaker could be reset. Slight inconvenience but the owner again was very accommodating. The rooms were clean, the price was fair, the location is good, the customer service is good so I would probably stay here again in the future. read more

I've been meaning to write a review since my visit this past May. This place is a sweet and clean B & B in the sleepy town of Fort Bragg. It was very easy to make reservations, by email and phone. The owner whose name I forget now was very friendly and engaging. She offered us a glass of wine and cookies when we arrived, showed us to our room, and gave us tips on where to eat dinner and what to see nearby. We stayed at the Nest because I wanted a room with a bathtub. I don't have a bathtub at home so this was really enjoyable. The room was quite spacious and has a small TV and DVD player. It also has an electric fireplace that I thought was so cute, I wanted one at home. Even though the room is right by the central atrium, it wasn't noisy at all. The atrium is covered so even though it was raining during our visit, we could sit outside and enjoy the garden. The breakfast was simple but tasty. Definitely would recommend the place if you are in the area. It's not far from Mendocino and a nice place to stay if you are going to check out the wineries in Anderson Valley. Oh there is a dog that roams the place so if you are allergic to dogs, you should let them know or not stay there. My husband is allergic to dogs but wasn't triggered by that one. This is a nice B&B. The rooms are nice enough and have all the amenities I would expect from a spot of the price. Its definitely an older building, but well taken care of for the most part. The entrance to the back rooms is overgrown however and you have to stoop dow to get through the vines, which is odd. Breakfast is abundant and good. The fresh baked pastries are amazing! I was worried at first because the building is right on the freeway, but the noise from traffic was limited to the morning and evening commute. The rest of the day (and night) it was perfectly quiet. What a beautiful place to stay! Rooms are well-maintained and the one I stayed in had a private bathroom as well. There's also a selection of movies for you to watch in your room if you wish. Breakfast is made fresh every day and was delicious! Mary and Gail were friendly and helpful, and I got a small discount for paying in cash. Cheaper than staying in Mendocino, anyways. My fiance and I wanted to attend the Mendo Whale festival this year and more importantly, the beer festival the rotary club puts on! I found The Atrium on Yelp and also on Trip Advisor. Both convinced me to reserve a room and stay in our very first bed and breakfast! I am sooo thankful we did too as it was simply perfect! The owners are so wonderful and make you feel right at home. I'm not going to say which room we were in as I'd like to keep that our little secret, but it was amazing and more importantly extremely clean. The place is so convenient to everything and once we parked our car on Friday we never used it again until we left on Sunday. We are from SF, so are used to walking everywhere, but you really can walk everywhere in FB! The breakfast was always on time and delicious! Very fresh ingredients and something everyone could eat. This is an adorable, affordable getaway in the charming beach community of Fort Bragg. The owners were kind and accomodating, the breakfast was always delicious and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed in the Oasis room which had a clawfoot tub. The only bummer was the clawfoot tub only filled to less than half full- so I didn't get the relaxing bath I had hoped for since most of my skin was exposed and we were there during a cold month. I would definitely go back. The price is right, the place is adorable, the owners are nice and we love Fort Bragg (the drive there's pretty nice, too.) I would recommend, however, requesting a room toward the back of the house since Highway 1 can get noisy. read more

Not visually appealing, (None of these places are, keep in mind) though they did do a good job decorating. Just got back from a lovely two night stay at The Atrium Bed and Breakfast. It reminded us of Grandma's house. Old fashioned architecture with brightly colored paint and trim. They have a hard time keeping up with the weather so it's not pristine, but I don't think there is anything that can handle the salt air, wind and rain that comes from being at the coast. The decor is also old fashioned and some rooms have that old home smell, but the ambiance of the newly remodeled rooms makes up with it's quaintness and charm. The stairs are old and very narrow. I had to walk sideways going down and you must keep your hand on the railings at all times. No running up and down the stairs here! Each room is decorated differently. All have different amenities. We were in the Garden Room. It had a small tv/vcr combo so we were able to watch a movie one evening. The tv screen was really small so it made it difficult to watch but we managed just fine. There is free WiFi available. Our bathroom was located across the hall. It was newly painted/remodeled but does need a few extra things. The shower is very slippery when the water is on. There was no mat or non-slip bath decals on the floor of the shower. This could be considered somewhat of a hazard if you're not careful. We would also recommend using some WD-40 on all the door hinges and locks. This is an older building and everything squeaks. It makes getting up using the bathroom several times a night a little annoying not only for the user but the neighboring guests on the floor. Since it was late August at the coast we expected it to be a bit chilly, but the weather was gorgeous. The temperature in the room was really warm. We had to open the window because I was so hot! But with that brings the noise from outside. Saturday night wasn't so bad but Sunday night/Monday morning was a bummer because the local services start work at 4am. Breakfast was ok...egg dishes both days. I would have liked to seen an alternative to that. Perhaps pancakes made to order or other options. Sides included sausages, pastries, bread, bagels, and fruit; plus coffee, tea and orange juice. A nice selection. Check-in is very late - 3pm-6pm. We had to bum around town until 3pm before we could get our room and relax before dinner. Kind of tough to do if you're driving all day. But, you can make arrangements to check in a different time. The owner made cookies the afternoon we checked in. Don't know if she did it the second day because we were too exhausted to go down and check it out. We came back from a day filled with activity to collapse on the bed and take a nap. She was super nice and gave us some ice for our glasses. All in all not bad. They are many other B&B's in town so I would recommend calling direct to see if you can get a better deal than what's posted online. It'll save on fees for the owners and they might just give you a better deal. read more

This was our first B&B experience and we loved everything about the place! Gail was wonderful and so caring...making sure to make special dishes for us as vegetarians. We traveled with our dogs as well and all of us were quite comfortable! We will be returning to Atrium on an annual basis! This B and B gets three stars with a caveat that, for what it is, the place is excellent. The women who run the BNB are very nice and the breakfast was wonderful. However, my preference is NOT to have a $163 room in a very old house with a view of an interstate highway. I believe one might be more comfortable in a newer establishment located with a room facing away from the road. This room was booked as a last minute reservation through Expedia, which advised there was only one room left at $145. However, upon arrival, it was clear that the room next door (buttercup) was available ---less road noise, for $100. (This is not the first time Expedia has pulled this kind of nonsense and at this point, it will be the last for me.). The room Was clean. The staff are nice. The room is centrally located. However, this place is too old and loud for my tastes. read more

This is a charming bed & breakfast in Fort Bragg. It is within walking distance to the main town. There is plenty of parking on the street and the parking lot behind the house. The owners are very nice and will make sure that you have a pleasant stay. Breakfast in the morning was superb and included everything that I could possibly want. We've stayed at most of the Ft Bragg B&B's and this one is the one I choose to return to...great location on Rte 1, or North Main Street, within two blocks of the downtown, such as it is... The wonderful owners, Gail & Mary, expat SF'ers, took over around 2001 and have done a great job in gradually renovating the property - basically two houses joined by - you guessed it - an atrium, where it's nice to sit in amongst the plants and while away the day with a book and a glass of wine, or two... The rooms are larger than most B&B's and are one-by-one being decorated and upgraded. We always reserve the "Interlude" but there's not a "bad" room in the house[s]. They do an absolutely wonderful breakfast featuring home-made breads, fruit dishes and a hot special - the most recent was an eggs benedict with portabello mushrooms. This was my first time at a bed and breakfast. My girlfriend and I stayed in the quilt room. The room itself was nice, although the mattress/bed was super noisy.. which made having a bit of romantic time a bit challenging :) Gail was friendly and accommodating. I had requested some wine and flowers be in the room upon our arrival and they were! my Girlfriend was pleasantly surprised by that. The room itself was clean, the house was clean.. cookies were great, breakfast in the morning was great although I would have liked to see a bit more variety (maybe I got used to hotel style buffets). Upon checkout I was happy to learn if I paid in cash the B&B would cover the tax, saved me some money! Overall it was a great experience and we'll stay here again! We stayed here for Valentine's Day and it was perfect for us. I believe we stayed in The Oasis room, which had an attached bathroom. We would stay in this room again if visiting Fort Bragg. I've read that some of the rooms have fireplaces, which would be nice too. The staff was warm and friendly. They answered all of our questions about Fort Bragg and showed us around the house promptly. I felt safe and comfortable, because although the house wasn't "fancy" it was clean, tidy and well laid out. The location is ideal. Minutes away from sea glass beach and The North Coast Brewery, which had amazing brew. Lastly, breakfast was filling and yummy! To me, what separates a good bed and breakfast from a lousy one is the customer service. A good bed and breakfast will make you feel welcome and its owners will focus on subtleties that make your stay very comfortable. Unfortunately for my fiancée and I, the Atrium bed and breakfast failed in that respect. Physically, this old building had charm and is decorated cleverly enough. The beds are comfortable, albeit a tad squeaky. The ambient noise level of roadside traffic (and foot traffic within the building) , while certainly not the best, is not bad enough to disturb you. The bathrooms are heated, which proved extremely useful in this weather, but was lacking basic toiletry amenities. Our room, the quilt room, featured a fire place that heated the room nicely. This leads to my issue with the service. We were told by one of the Inn keepers, Gail, to please not leave the fireplace on while we were out - unless we wanted to pay their propane bills. Now, I don't know what kind of person would leave a fire on while gone, but to mention the part about the propane bill was entirely unnecessary. A kindler, friendlier reminder to not leave the fire on would suffice. The next morning, I stepped into the common room to have coffee and read the paper. Another gentleman staying there had come in for coffee as well. Gail proceeds to come in and turn the fire on in the common room where she again made mention of their propane bill. Again, this sort of talk is entirely inappropriate, and if your concerned about cost control, adapt your business accordingly without making your guests feel uncomfortable. Now, for the kicker. My fiancée and I venture to the dining area for breakfast a short while later. The breakfast was served on a long table and guests would make their own plates. The selection was sufficient for my standards, however the portions of the egg dish were cut a little small for my taste. And seeing as how they had run out of yogurt, I had wanted a little more protein. Upon grabbing another piece of the egg dish (which had been replenished and cut into larger pieces) I was approached by the other Inn keeper who was "making sure I only grabbed one piece. " Odd, I thought, since there was no mention of any rules against grabbing an extra portion. At previous bed and breakfasts, I usually have to refuse food from the owners who wish to ensure you have had your fill. I brush it off, and sit down at my table to enjoy my food, and I was told by my fiancée that Gail, who was talking to the couple at the table next to us, had stared at my plate for 5 seconds, presumably feeling put off that I would grab another piece. When my fiancée told me this when we returned to our room, I was outraged. I could not believe anyone would repeatedly want to make their guests feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Needless to say, I will not be patronizing their breakfasts the remainder of our stay (I would have packed and left but my fiancée convinced me to stay). I do not enjoy writing bad reviews, but I take customer service seriously, especially in a service industry like bed and breakfasts. There are a slew of other bnbs in the area, yelpers, I would suggest that if you want a pleasant stay and want to feel at home, you stay somewhere else. read more

LITERALLY, from the condition of the room, smell, decor and furniture's. to sum it up i have an antique popcorn pan by my door, to bash anyone with who dare's go into my room. pros: room is clean, cute and friendly canine(s) great's you at the lobby or at the parking lot, comfortable bed, breakfast was simple but delicious. cons: my room was 15' away from hwy 1 so i can hear every single vehicle that passes by even when the windows were closed, 13" tube tv, no fridge, no hair dryer, weak wifi signal and the gas fireplace smell's when it was on or it was just me. ambiance... ok (...but for the oldies, this will be awesome... home sweet home) service... great (the host was as nice as your loving aunt but at the back of your head you know better not to meddle with her) cost... $$ (ok, not too expensive) read more

The boyfriend and I spent this past weekend at The Atrium. It was my first time in Fort Bragg, and first time at a B&B. I wasn't super impressed with the town of Fort Bragg. If I was going back to the area, I would stay in Elk, which is a few miles down the road and a much prettier area. But on to my review of the B&B itself: The house was clean. The bed was comfortable. Our room was called "The Oasis". It was in the back of the house, so it was nice and quiet, with no noise from the highway like the rooms in front. The TVs are teeny-tiny. I know my BF would have appreciated a bigger TV, but I was there for the quality alone time, so I didn't mind. They provided shampoo and soap, but no conditioner, so we had to pick some up at the store. There was plenty of hot water, and I took a nice bath in the claw foot tub one day. ( : Gail, the owner, was very nice and a really good cook. Breakfast was yummy. There was an egg dish both days, plus, toast, fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee and orange juice. I enjoyed Gracie, the house dog, but some might be bothered by the fact that she comes into the dining room. Some nice touches were the books, magazines, and DVDs available to borrow, and the wine glasses and opener that Gail provided on request. She also offered me a blow dryer when I came downstairs with wet hair one morning. Glass Beach is in walking distance. It is cool to see all the sea glass if you are able to go down the steep path to the beach. read more

Overall, the Atirum is really good - the owners (I only met one) are friendly, the breakfasts are good, and the rooms are comfortable. But there were some minor issues which keep me from giving them 5 stars. We stayed in the french-themed Rendezvous room, which was decorated wonderfully according to theme. I'd say the only issue with this room is noise - it faces Hwy. 1, and it's right on top of the lounge and when people are talking downstairs you can hear everything upstairs - but it's nothing too serious. There was shampoo in the bathroom but no conditioner. There wasn't always cheese in the parlor from 4-6 pm (as promised), but the wine was always good. The actual atrium is pretty nice and there's a very nice kitty there, but we didn't get to enjoy it much since it was a little chilly. (And I did wonder why there were plastic plants in this lovely space.) So you get what I mean? Everything was good, but could have been a wee bit better. Having said all that, though... This was my first experience with a bed and breakfast inn and first time to Fort Bragg. Gail was a delightful hostess and what a treat to have Gracie to pet and play with. Our room was called "The Lodge" and was fantastic. Large, spacious and comfortable. The fireplace kept us warm on the cold evenings. I literally picked this room because of the fireplace. Our room was spotless and the bed was amazingly comfortable. We were facing the street so we did have some street noise but it was minimal. The courtyard between the two houses is wonderful and we sat outside, while freezing (because we didn't know how cold it got here) and drank hot chocolate spiked with peppermint schnaaps. We enjoyed the North Coast Brewery which was walking distance and even hit a local pool hall. We didn't eat breakfast either day which I think hurt Gail's feelings. But I have special diet needs and didn't want to bother her with all of them. I didn't want to be one of THOSE whiny guests. We were able to walk to Glass Beach and pretty much anywhere wanted to go in Fort Bragg. I would definitely stay here again. You will not be disappointed. read more

It's clear that the new owners are working hard to improve this former B&B- which, it needs to be stressed, no longer furnishes a breakfast, which makes it just a "B". The bed was comfortable, with warm bedding, and the old house had a friendly, lived in feeling. The room came with a small fridge, (but, oddly, a toaster oven, rather than a microwave), a french press coffee maker (with coffee; thanks), and a few cups and plates. The bathroom was great, with a good shower, and good, thick towels provided. There is a large TV, which we never turned on, so I can't vouch for it. I have to agree with the folks who have complained about the thin walls. Our neighbors were not particularly noisy, but we could hear every word of their conversations in the next room- and, I suppose, they could hear ours, as well. We had a room in back, for which I was grateful; the front rooms, as has been noted, are next to the busy main street, which is also Highway 1, and the traffic noise can get pretty loud, at times. One more thing that needs mentioning: the place advertises itself (on Air B&B) as being "two blocks from the beach"- this accompanied by a picture of a couple strolling hand in hand, on a lovely, sandy, sunset beach. Well, they are, in fact, two blocks from a beach. What was left for us to discover, as we walked the two blocks, is that access to the beach, itself, is blocked by a seven foot high fence, topped with barbed wire, stretching to either side as far as the eye could see. The nearest "beach", (such as it is), is "Glass Beach"- a few rocky inlets where people pick up pieces of ocean shaped glass among the pebbles. It's, roughly, a quarter mile's walk from where you're staying, and it resembles in no way the idyllic, sandy beach suggested by the advertising. I hope and trust that the new owners will soon correct what can only be called a deliberately misleading description of the location. The place is not bad- I've certainly stayed in worse, and, while I would not stay there again, it has its charms. read more

THIS PLACE DISCRIMINATES AGAINST THE DISABLED!!!! My husband is disabled and requires a service animal. We have a second dog who is a therapy dog for the Senior Center (the reason for our visit to Ft Bragg). I called Hotel.com to book a disability room, and the nice lady at Hotel.com called the proprietor at the Atrium, who was very upset with the Hotel.com agent for asking about 2 dogs per room. Apparently the Atrium no longer allows dogs or disabled people because they are "TOO MUCH TROUBLE". We have also filed with the American Disability Association and ask that people boycott this establishment until this issue is resolved!!! read more

So, this place way exceeded our expectations. It was our first time at a Bed and Breakfast. First thing we noticed was how sweet and welcoming both of the inn keepers were. (Gale and Mary I believe?) the place was very well kept and charming. We stayed in the quilt room. The decor was very homey and cute. The bed was more comfortable than our bed at home and everything was very clean. The sheets smelt like fresh laundry soap which is my favorite smell ever! The night was quiet and warm with the heaters they provided. The breakfast is something you should definitely have ! It's was amazing :) all in all we will stay here again. It was a great experience. My husband and I stayed at the Atrium for two days and loved every minute of it. The two ladies that run the place are very kind and patient, and they had great recommendations for things to do in town. The room we were in was called the quilt room and was very clean and cozy. The shower stayed hot, but they're in a stage 3 drought, so I didn't want to test it too much. The heated fan in the bathroom is the best after a brisk day. The breakfast was delicious! Fresh fruit, great coffee, and excellent home style cooking make for a perfect start to a day of sightseeing. The atrium is in a great location and within walking distance of whatever you may be interested in. Overall, it felt like staying with family you haven't seen in a while. Wow! Fantastic place to stay, the rooms were great, ours had a king size bed, a large shower, fireplace and tv. The Atrium is close to everything including glass beach. This B&B has all the feelings of being home and Gail made us feel like family. There is the main building with the units separated from the office and living quarters by a beautiful Atrium garden in between. The office has the dining room and living room where we were able to enjoy the great breakfast provided as well as the living room to sit and talk. By the way, the breakfast was so great and much better than I would have got in any restaurant. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this great retreat to all. read more

Highly recommended for a getaway. Owners were very helpful in setting up a secret getaway weekend for my parent's anniversary. They brought in a cake and even put up a few decorations in their room. My parents had a great stay. Breakfast was excellent. read more

We had a great stay in Fort Bragg at the Atrium. We came here to go to the sea glass beach which was totally worth the 4 hour drive from Palo Alto, Ca. We chose the Atrium because it looked nice on the pictures, was close to the glass beach and they allow dogs. We didn't wanna stay at a motel 6 or something. We paid $305 for 2 nights for 2 people plus dog incl. breakfast and tax. It was totally reasonable. The room was clean, the bed was very comfy! The bathroom was on the floor but 2 steps from our room. The service was very nice. Great breakfast with egg soufles, toast, bagels, fresh fruit, coffee, oj, tea.... it was yummy and they have a very pretty relaxing backyard/garden area! We had a great stay and would come back. read more

I didn't like that I wasn't notified ahead of time that the place was under new ownership (I had booked the reservation months before it was sold off - it looked very run down) and they didn't do breakfast anymore. What kind of bed and breakfast doesn't serve breakfast? They would only comp my 'breakfast' money if I paid in cash. They told me that I could go to the Cafe 1 and get breakfast there and to let them know so that they could take care of it. The Cafe 1 had no idea of this arrangement, and when we tried to contact the owners of the bnb, they didn't reply back (not to me or to the owner of Cafe 1). So not only did I pay an extra $30 at the bnb, but I also payed $30 for breakfast at the cafe (I was robbed $30 from this place, I payed $321 through bookings.com). Also they were never around in the morning or night for face to face contact. My boyfriend and I tried to go to the office at 10:45am (told they would be there at 10:30am) and they weren't there which then a lady said "oh they'll be here at 11:00am then". The office also closes at 6:00pm. I'm sorry that we go out and enjoy the day from 10:00am-8:00pm. I was notified that they closed at 6:00pm and that I would be checking in at 6:30pm. Upon arrival a man just happened to still be there and unlocked the office to check us in instead of waiting till the morning. With the office never being open during the time frame that we were in our room, if that man wasn't there, if we were just 5min later arriving, I don't know how we would have ever even payed for this stay. This place was in walking distance from town and the beach, however it's right on the main busy street. Everyone's reviews were great about this place, I was extremely let down by my visit. We stayed in the Garden room, which doesn't have an attached bathroom, so the bathroom across the hall from us is what we used. It wasn't so bad using a shared bathroom, I felt bad for the other visitors if they could hear the doors opening and closing every time we went there; plus the bathroom only was stocked with two towels which was fine if the two of us were the only ones that used that bathroom, but we weren't (maybe the only two to use the shower). My boyfriend and I were both too tall for the little shower, the neighbor was running his weed wacker at 7:00pm our first night there, the parking lot was at the very back of the house (we found it easier to park on the street right next to our door instead of walking all the way around or through the plants), there is no clear markings for where the office, parking, or entrance for anything is. It seems like the new owners are going to be making a lot of changes. I hope that people that stay there after the changes have a great experience. However being there during a stay of in-between, sucked. read more

I'm giving this B&B a 5 star rating for the sole reason that the manager/owner made our weekend stay very special and comfortable. I didn't want to bother with the minute issues. My husband and I would have booked a 4 or 5 star hotel if we didn't expect some minor inconveniences. We did our assignment before booking this place so we knew what to expect. True enough, this place serve a magnificent homecooked breakfast. It is closed to most of the dining places and just about 2 blocks away from Glass Beach. I won't say the rate was cheap, but it neither it was expensive. Wouldn't mind staying here again. read more
