NPI number provided by scheduling was not correct. Front desk kept blaming somebody in billing or scheduling for not providing me paper work in advance. Saw her in July 2026 in Bridgewater. First time. Had to wait 1 hour! Then took wax out of my ears…read more Fine. Next said always have sinus issues. She looked at my right nostril with I think was just a little flashlight pen looked into my nostril, not going all the way inside and stated, Oh it's inflammation. Then come to find out that she charged my medicare $766.00 for and endoscopy which is a specific procedure that entails a tube connected to an endoscope with a tiny camera and light and then projects images onto a screen. This procedure takes about 40 mins.,an anesthetic is used first and then an endoscopy is performed going through the nostril, nasal cavity and sinuses. This procedure was NOT done! Ent billing told me that even if she Quick Looks in your nose w/ a light they consider it an endoscopy. Great loopholes to get around what an actual procedure is and how should be billed. This is part of the reason our Medicare charges go up every year. I will never go back there again! Always ask what will be charged!

I have received multiple emails and voicemail messages and I haven't even been there yet. I decided to cancel my appointment when I read the last email and realized they have no clue how to handle various Medicare plans.

He looked at me/my child the entire time with no notepad or comptuer. Instead, he just seemed to diagnose and treat without worrying about the time. My son was at another pediatricians office who tried to handle his allergies; but they failed miserably. Then Dr. Lauer just said, see an allergist, here is a referral. I called the specialist and mentioned Lauers name - they knew he was really good too and got me in the next day. It has been great ever since.
