They haven't locked the doors yet, but they had already closed out the registers. I told the kid I wouldn't be more than two minutes I just needed to snatch up a tie, and he was so nice. I know he did not have to do it, but he opened up his register and allowed me to run back and grab a tie, totally saved my day. Great customer service, and I am eternally thankful.

For the first time today they wouldn't accept my expired Kohl's cash which is extremely annoying. My kids don't need new clothes every month and it was only 2 weeks expired. I was stopping in because the bike…read moreshop in DeKalb closed, and I was in need of a new pump since my Twister broke a fitting on the gauge, and the company doesn't support it anymore. The shop owner had two different pumps, and took the time to explain what the best one was and why. I opted for the better pump with the steel barrel, and the ability to fill standard and Presti valves without the need for an adapter assembly - all in one. It has an analog (needle) gauge, which is fine with me - the other broke one had a digital gauge, and it wasn't working consistently or well. Good advice from the owner. I was looking around for something else. I usually wear a dry-fit shirt for riding, but that rides up and I get mud in the itchy places. He had some nice bike jerseys for the local club, and I tried on two of them. The large was too tight, but the extra large was just right, looked good, and no more flapping in the wind. The price was reasonable and equivalent (in fact less) than some I'd shopped when riding in Madison. This shop has a TON of hardware - you can get gears, crank arms, clusters, brakes, everything, plus has a complete shop. All local, put your hands on it, and get support. So support this local business. Go buy something there.

I found the receipt and since I was told I could not stop foot in her store I sent my mother in law to return the item for me and she is never open. So I sent my daughter to return said item with the receipt and she said I will not return the item till she takes that review down about the store. Clearly $35 means more to u than me cause now it's the principle that everyone should know what you are getting into when you purchase a item from this store should know in case you need to return item. So my daughter called me when she left said she was very rude again. I told her take my receipt out of the bag and leave it in the counter I don't want her clothing. And I will be good with just losing out on again $35. The owner called the police on my daughter and they called me and she was more upset that I posted the review. And when talking to the officer she informed her about her return policy which was 15 days. Which is funny because this was nothing I had heard when trying to return the item the first time, so another excuse in why you don't want to return a item purchased from your own store. All this because you don't want to stand behind your product. And shame on me for trying to support a small business in our area all I was informed again that I was not allowed on her property I wouldn't walk in our around the store ever in my life even if it was the last place to shop.
