Packages are accounted for in a ledger and I've never had one SNAFU with any package being lost. The office staff will deliver your package(s) inside your apt if you are in a pinch to pickup. The grounds are well kept, ranging from repaving the roads annually, mulching the grounds, trimming trees, bushes, fixing light fixtures, plowing snow from the roads and sidewalks as well as adding plenty of rock salt. The maintenance staff responds to inquiries in a timely manner. There are several police officers that live onsite and the Plainfield police patrol the grounds regularly. The Shops at Perry are within walking distance and utilities are fairly priced. My only complaint would be the water is very hard. For "luxury apartments", there should be water softeners in each unit. Noise is pretty minimal and pricing is not exorbitant. The complex is quiet, small and within reach of shops, bike trails and anything you need and is close to I-70.

Beware. This management deletes bad reviews on google, so don't trust anything you read online…read more They prioritize collecting rent over actually helping tenants, and the property has serious issues--pests, leaks, mold, faulty smoke alarms, unsafe windows, and zero security. What you see on paper is nothing like the reality. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.

We lived at Canyon Club for over two years and it was a great experience…read more Our apartment was spacious and if there were ever any issues they were taken care of in a timely manner. The pool was our favorite spot to be at during the summer. Management was great to work with. Maintenance was always on top of things and grounds were always looking great. Management always tried to engage with their tenants by having tenant appreciation days, craft days, Halloween parties, etc. We always had a great time meeting our neighbors at those events. I would recommend Canyon Club to anyone and we will actually miss living here. A huge shout out to Sabrina, Tierra, and George. You all made Canyon Club a great place to live in!

Zero insulation between floors, I could hear phone conversations the ppl above me were having. The parking lot loaded with more semi trucks than a Walmart parking lot. Management difficult to deal with on most issues, always an excuse, then they raise the rent over $300 a month with nothing in return. The pool on the weekend was filled with so many kids yelling and screaming you couldn't stand to be there. My first year was decent with the exception of upstairs noise, thereafter it was all down hill. On a positive the apartment has a ton of storage, something hard to come by.

My wife and I lived here for a year and just recently left to move to the north side of town. We…read morerented a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment for around $799 (they were running a $50/month special at the time). I loved the floor plan as the the living room and dining area were side by side so it made for a huge living space. The bedrooms are adequate size and we had a decent amount of room left with our 3-piece furniture set. One thing I loved about this apartment: TONS of storage space. Both bedroom closets are walk-ins, there is a linen closet, a coat closet, and large patio storage. The only real complaint we had about the apartment was the dishwasher. It was caked with mineral deposits and we were told that is just how the water in Avon is. We attempted to clean it but didn't have any luck so we ended up just hand washing our dishes. The community was generally well-kept up during the summer and offers a weight room, pool, enclosed dog park, and car washing station (which I took a lot of advantage of). This last winter was a pain with all the snow we received. If it had snowed the night before, the sidewalks would not be cleared until about 10 or 10:30. They also contract out their snow removal services on the roads so don't expect them to be clear until well into the afternoon if not later. These issues aside, we never really had problems. The neighbors were all very respectful and never had any noise issues. I will note that, while not the apartment complexes fault, the USPS mail carriers that service the apartments are very incompetent. I can't tell you the number of times we had misplaced or lost packages due to the fault of the carrier. The community is very pet friendly with a lot of sidewalks to take your dog on a walk as well as numerous pet clean-up stations. The dog park is just a large fenced in grassy area, but it is fun to play in since it is so big (especially in the winter with a lot of snow). As the one other person mentioned, right behind the complex is a sewage treatment plant. On various days during the summer, the air definitely reeks. Ironically, the day I visited the apartments for the first time, you couldn't smell anything. I don't think it would have stopped us from living there, but it would have been nice to be informed about it. It never made the inside of our apartment smell though which was good. The area in Avon where the apartments are located is fantastic. There is a huge park just across the street with a large pond and a lot of walking/biking trails. If you have kids there is also a huge playground area. Just a couple minutes down the road is another park with a large playground area plus a lot of mountain biking trails. McDonalds and Kroger are right down the road as well. The staff was always very friendly to us in the office and the maintenance guys were all very great. They were super nice and fixed things in a very timely manner. I would just like to say that the reason my score tipped from 4 stars to 5 stars was because of the deposit. In the 4 different apartments I've lived in over the past several years, I've never gotten more than half of my deposit back. Each time we scrub everything down and make sure things are spotless when we move out. They always seem to find "something" wrong. Washington Quarters gave us back all $450 of our deposit. Suffice it to say I was amazed and very grateful. I would indeed live here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Maintenance is superb and the apartment is overall nice. Just not a fan of being signed up for unwanted items as part of my lease. I am sure they make money off of forcing residents to sign up.

I lived at this property for nearly five years on the ground floor, paying extra for a garage. I…read moredid like it until end of 2023 and through my move out date Sept 2024. I always kept my account current and maintained a clean apartment. However, there were persistent issues, including a moldy bathroom and a leaking garage, as shown in the photos. The exterior building doors are insecure, as key fobs can be useless when the doors are unlocked by physical keys. It happened FREQUENTLY. While the maintenance team, especially Jamal, is excellent, noise from upper-level units with faux wood floors can be disruptive. Additionally, the pool remains unlocked during the season, allowing non-residents to use it freely--a poor decision. Community events were poorly promoted, and management changes occurred without notice, which was inconsiderate. Even 24-hour entry notices were sent only via email. If you have an issue, you have to follow up for results. Fire extinguishers used to be provided but not all Units get them. I did eventually get one in August right before i moved out LOL. See email from April saying they are working on it. Also install the dog park bench back..its been like that for over 2 years.
