Our two themes there were date night (you and your partner work together to create 2 themed paintings) and then pet night (you email Amy a picture of your pet, she sketches it, and then you paint it). Amie provides everything and you BYOB and even food! I saw someone there eating a full on dinner while painting. She was totally fine with that. I love this place. Relaxed, fun, and personable. They have a lot of different art in various mediums. There were several pieces I was drawn to and most are for sale. I wish I had more wall space. Today was my first visit to the North Coastal Art Gallery and I was very impressed. Not only is it…read morea free gallery, many of the pieces are for sale and fairly priced -- especially for their level of skill. When I walked into the space, the man working greeted me quickly and said I could fill out a small paper choosing my favorite piece, and they do a 'best in show' every month, based on the votes. That painting will be featured and the artist gets a ribbon too. It made the experience interactive, which I really enjoyed. Can't wait to see who wins!

I LOVE that this place has a little retail shop at the back where you can see and buy unique handmade glass items. There are so many amazing pieces and it seems like they are all done by local artists which is great. I love to walk in here just to look at all the pretty things they have. We had zero ocean experience, but our instructors, Rusty and Justin, were fantastic. They made us feel comfortable right away and did a great job teaching beginners. We were a little worried about getting cold, but Rusty set us up with extra thick wetsuits, which made a huge difference. After a quick practice on the beach, we headed straight into the water! It was an exhilarating experience! I even managed to get up a few times. We had an absolute blast and would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to try surfing!

Lots of waves were caught, lots of wipeouts experienced, and a great time was had by all. , Rusty was easy to work with, timely with communication, and his instructors knowledgable and patient.
