    I dealt with Juan Lluria over the phone. He requested photos of items which he later called to brag…read morethat he deals with more"upscale, important clients". Because he tends to talk quickly, a customer can barely get a word in. I found his customer service to be condescending and patronizing. I do not know if this is a reflection of the company itself, however, agents like Juan are in it only for the money while lacking consideration for the emotional bond that people have with precious objects of their recently loved ones. my recommendation would be to contact people with employees that have some sort of sensibility and reputation for conducting themselves with less ego and more humanity. Since his critique, I have found the appropriate estate sales company who is willing to help with my treasured items and willing to take the time to see the value in them. 5/2/2024 If anyone read the response from the business owner, you will notice that he made my point. Talks too way too much and for a lengthy time Obviously the only person here that is emotional is himself. What a rant, am I right? Or am I right? Typical of a man to utilize "emotionality of a female" as an excuse for his behavior.Not to mention to go on and on regarding his millionaire clients and museum clients. As a Director of a high profile Hotel Management team I would never respond like this. If a customer is dissatisfied, an apology, and since would be the appropriate response. However, this comes to show the unprofessionalism of this individual representing his company. to be frank, you really don't wish me the best. Otherwise you would not have spent what I assume was a lot of time writing defensive remarks instead of just letting it go.

Juan has known both of my parents since the 80's and has worked with them many times since. My father recently died, leaving a large home full of furniture that I had no idea what to do with. I called Juan and he came over the next day to go through and catalog the entire house. Then, he called me back within 48 hours informing me that he was able to sell more than half of it! He coordinated the entire pick-up and payment process with his buyer and everything was paid for and gone before the end of the week! I want to thank him for resolving a such painful experience so quickly and painlessly. He was easy to work with it and wastes no time, exactly what I needed in this particular situation. I would definitely work with him again!
