They were very friendly and genuinely engaged with the children during this event. Camila and the gentlemen on staff running the event did a phenomenal job keeping the children busy and engaged. We stopped in for the special FX & prosthetic makeup workshop. Camila really worked hard to keep everyone focused on the tasks at hand and did an excellent job teaching such a large group. The costume contest was a good time as well. There were so many children in creative costumes that took home little trophies and prizes. My daughter thanked me for taking her and is excited to see what else the center has to offer as a young artist. This is a excellent place to invest in your child's talents and gifts. It's also the perfect space to allow them to spend less time off their digital devices & social media. They offer anime graphic arts, music, studio production, acting and more. We look forward to enrolling in the art & music classes here. This is a unique resource and space for young rising creatives. So glad to have stumbled across this center.

A gallery and studio owned and operated by one artist, Catherine Martin, who both creates and…read moredisplays her work here as well as uses it to teach students. This is a working studio. Unlike most galleries exclusively for displaying finished art, this place has the look of an art school. The back room has the requisite paint splatters, a color wheel of sorts on the wall and displays of student art. The front room, currently in the midst of a reorganization showcases the artist's work. The artist-owner, Catherine, assured me the canvases on the walls, leaning against the walls, or on the floor, would be displayed more appropriately once she finished rearranging them. In a way, though, the haphazard arrangement really made it seem I was seeing part of the creative process. The owner and artist was very sweet and took time to explain her inspirations. It was fascinating. Her works, and even those by her students, are in the impressionist style, with the vivid colors reminiscent of that era. There were canvases of all sizes, but the most striking for me was a small scene in the front window that Ms Martin said she painted of the area out behind her gallery. There was something about that picture that made time disappear. Nothing in it suggested it was a modern time or a modern work. It was captivating.

Such a great find for ballet and tap for my five year old. I just love watching her in this class…read more- her instructor plays fun princess music, they dance with little props that go along with the seasons/holidays - pumpkins, "falling" leaves, etc. One class they all got to put on a princess dress. It's a great combination of age appropriate ballet activities mixed with ballet terminology and moves. It's a busy studio, lots of dancers of all ages coming and going - and they all look very happy and excited to be there, which is a great sign! Already looking forward to the recital in June!

PDC…read moremanages the rare feat of doing two things incredibly well; it is both a very warm, welcoming, friendly, well run and well organized studio and also an incredible teaching facility for dance. Kay and the faculty are very supportive and attentive to all the kids, regardless of their level. They keep a careful eye on who needs what kind of work and suggest classes accordingly. It's remarkable how well they know each kid, and everything they are dealing with both in and out of dance. They also enforce a policy of all the kids being nice to each other. Everyone applauds for everyone else, everyone thanks the teacher at the end of each class, everyone works hard and is supportive of each other. The studio is growing along with my daughters, so that there are always challenging classes to take and interesting things to learn. They have been given wonderful opportunities not just to perform and to compete, but also to do things like dance at local cultural festivals and for seniors in a care facility. The studio is also very respectful of family time and homework time, and many of their dancers are also honors students in school. My daughters have learned not just how to dance, but how to manage their time, how to be responsible, and how to support and nurture others.
