It's one of my first stops at the holidays and for anniversary/birthday gifts because they always have new stuff, and it's pretty affordable. It's like a mix between the DIA's gift shop and other art stores like Art is in Market and Urban Merchant. They close early on Saturdays and aren't open on Sundays though, which is kind of inconvenient. But they are open until late during the week which is cool because you can see the classes going on.

Painting with a twist is always a fun time. I've done it about three times now at a different…read morelocation each time for either a friends bday or some sort of celebration. The "twist" is the fact that you can bring wine or wine coolers, from my understanding no hard alcohol is allowed. I debate with myself on if the price seems reasonable as each class can be around $40 but the overall experience once it's done seems to make the price not seem so bad. This time I went with about 3 friends and our instructor helped us paint some wine glasses to celebrate New Year! The entire event was around an hour and a half I believe. The instructors are very helpful and give you tips and tricks as you go along. I wouldn't wear anything you're too afraid to get paint on as it can get a little messy at times but it'll come right off with water. Overall this was a very fun painting with a twist experience and I'll come back in the future.

My parents gifted me a class for Christmas, where I made a pulled flower that turned out so cool, and I recently went back to make a pumpkin this fall. The entire team is warm, welcoming, and such excellent teachers. They make you feel fully involved in the process while guiding you step by step with a very hands-on, one-on-one approach. The small class sizes ensure there's always enough time to learn, create, and ask questions without feeling rushed. This is such a unique experience, perfect for a group of friends, a family outing, a bachelorette party, or a birthday celebration. Even if you're the only one participating, it's still fascinating for a spouse or friend to watch and learn about the glassblowing process. I love supporting small, local, women-owned businesses, and Epiphany Studios truly deserves the praise. Both of my experiences were so much fun, and I'll definitely be back.
