Last December I decided to (finally) get some artwork framed so I checked out Toco Hills. They have…read morea huge collection of frames, matting, and fillets so it took me a while to decide on everything but they were patient and let me mull over my options while also providing some suggestions and recommendations. After deciding I went ahead and paid in full. They do allow you to pay a deposit instead. At the time of my order I was told one of the frames I selected was out of stock. It was coming from a manufacturer in Italy and they didn't have an ETA for when it would be back in stock but they guessed it could be 1-2 months. I had painstakingly lol gone through their collection so I decided to wait because I wasn't in a rush to get them. March came though and I hadn't heard anything so I called for an update. It would have been nice if they had reached out to me when they realized it was past the two month mark. I understand it feels uneventful to provide a "there's no update" update but I like being kept in the loop regardless of what the status is. After that call, they were more proactive in reaching out to me to let me know they were still waiting for it to arrive which I appreciated. When the frame finally arrived, I was really pleased with how both of my pieces came out. Their prices are expensive but it's a local, specialty shop and you only get things framed once so you may as well invest in something you'll like. Overall, I'd recommend checking them out.

Best compliment I can give is that the artist himself was pleased when he saw the choices I had made for his work with the terrific help of the shop. I've found my new locally owned framing shop and now so have you! I will happily make the 30-minute drive past other options because this experience was far superior.

I searched online and found Scott and Sons and their stellar reviews here on Yelp sold me first off. I brought all my art in and sat there with the team, Don, Eric and Steve. Those guys really know their stuff!!!! I have been to framers all around from California to London and these guys are the BEST! All of it looks amazing and I am even more proud now to have it hung here in once place. I wouldn't even bother going anywhere else! In fact, I live in Inman Park and would easily drive up to them to have them do all my future framing. I can't say enough really... I am very happy!

I was recommended by a printer to come here for professional, quick and affordable framing…read moreservices. I need two photographs framed for an exhibition and couldn't be happier with the service I received. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. This was my first time using a professional framer in years and they were so patient in explaining all of my options. I ordered a custom rush frame and they were able to have my piece ready in 3 days. Of course the cost was up there but they have such a large selection of frames to choose from, different matte and glass options. And if you have more time for framing I'm sure the prices are even better. They also have a really nice gallery of artwork by local artists. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience with Scott & Sons and I will definitely be back for any future framing needs.

My girlfriend and I visited Mudfire for a pottery class and had a great time. The instructors were…read moreall very helpful and informative and the space was super cool to check out. The parking was great and the tour of the studio was really cool to see and learn about the process. Then we got a ton of hands on time with the pottery, about an hour and a half, and then we got to pick from a wide selection of glazes which the artists will apply and then in about 6 weeks we will be able to pick up the pottery. I was blown away by the price of the class. I received it as a gift, but when I learned that it was only $65 per person for a 2 hour class and 2 pieces of pottery I was shocked. I'd highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

As I followed GPS and approached the property, I realized I've passed this place many times and…read moredidn't even know it was there. We turned right off the bumpy road that led us there and noticed their sizable parking lot. We found a spot quickly, snapped a couple of pictures and entered. There was really no direction or guidance when we got inside so we were hovering around for a few minutes. Then I noticed a check in desk at the far end. There was a couple ahead of us so we waited for a few seconds and then approached the counter. We advised that we were scheduled for the 5 PM class. The staff checked us in, pointed us in the right direction, and also informed us that we could roam around and check out their gallery before our class started, since we were a little early. I would say initially there were a bunch of people milling around. I was not sure if they were staff members or other patrons, but we did not initially get a very welcoming feel. Not a lot of eye contact or warm smiles. We roamed around checking the gallery until our class started. We approached the training area as it got close to our scheduled start time. Our instructor. Zoe greeted us warmly and told us she would get things started soon. Before class, she conducted an official tour that led us around the whole property. She clearly explained how the whole process would flow. Then she did a full demo before we even started. She led us through the process, and we were able to create three different creations, but she let us know that we were only able to keep two. Zoe was a star; very informative, patient and knowledgeable about the whole process. She expertly stepped in and helped us whenever we had questions. We washed up, picked out final colors for our creations and checked out. She advised that it would take 6 to 8 weeks for the whole creation to be baked and ready for pick up. For some reason, I thought we would be able to take our creations with us that day. Overall, we really enjoyed our first time at Mudfire.
