I guess I called too much because they stopped answering, but they were nice enough to text me. lol I ended up just pulling up rather than ordering online because I wanted to do it in person. I ordered my food, a chicken wing combo and some gumbo. It was supposed to take 18 mins so at 20 mins I went up to the window and she said the rice wasn't ready and to give her 7 more mins. I went back in 10 mins and it still wasn't ready. It was a bbq truck next to it so I was hungry and went and got a boudin as a snack to wait on my original food. Boudin was mid, made me sad. lol other cars were there waiting on their food too late at night. So I'm like the food might be good or everybody just found the one spot that was open. lol I'm salty at this point because I'm still waiting on my food. When my food is finally ready I'm thinking in my head like I'm going to get on Yelp and leave a review so people know not to come if they don't want to wait an hour to eat...But when I took that first bite of my chicken wing I promise I had found heaven on earth. I found love in a hopeless place. The chicken was perfect. From the way it was cooked to the seasoning. And I mean PERFECT! The red beans and rice lit up my life. I hate that I even had to mention how long it took my food to come out but I like my reviews to tell the truth, and I also want the people to understand that after I tasted my food I don't care how long it took. I would've waited another 45 mins for that food if I knew it was going to be that good. Okay I'm done.

If you get beef ribs and oxtails as your two meat options, they only give you two pieces each, which is not a lot. The ribs I feel barely have meat and it's a big bone. They give a decent portion of chicken (only dark meat). they were out of plantains that night, which is my favorite part of the meal. We also paid for extra sauce which we did not get. I think the "hot" jerk sauce needs to be spicier.
