It's located in a warehouse so there is plenty of parking but the pavement is in poor condition due to cracking. The man who was working was so kind and informative. He had a tank waiting for our fish. There were a dozen or more tanks filled with different fish. The place and tanks looked as clean as they could considering people and fish are in and out all day.

His warehouse of fish selection and prices can't be beat, especially with how the prices were where I came from further south in California. I'm in disbelief…read more... I have a pre-drilled 75 Gal aquarium tank and was in a bit of a bind with my API Filstar XP canister filter which had a bad impeller and the water flow was poor. While looking for a replacement part, I found out that this filter was discontinued and replacement parts are scarce to non-existent.  I purchased a Fluval Canister filter but found out that it was not compatible with the existing plumbing.  Facing the propects of having to do a replumb, and not knowing where to start, and what parts I would need, I decided to google search for companies that could perform this service.   I called MK Aquarium and Kevin answered.  He took the time to understand my issue.  What I really appreciated about Kevin is that he decided that I could save money by doing the work myself AND he would be willing to walk me through how to do it.  Candidly, I was shocked and touched by this act of kindness from a business owner. Kevin was on the phone with me, answered all my messages and I was able to get it done.  My tank is up and running with no issues so far. I've bought many fish and some corals over the years here and all have been disease free. They also guarantee their livestock, just in case, but I've never had to claim on it. They generally stock less livestock/product on hand than other stores, are open just a few hours every weekday, but that all translates to LOWER PRICES for the customer. As an expert hobbyist, I love that! If I want something specific all I have to do is call/txt/post whatever I want and they'll get it at a great price. The owner, Mike, also supports the local reef keeping community by hosting an annual BBQ/Frag Swap and regularly chimes-in online at our local reef keeping forum.

At home, I have a 300 gallon thriving reef tank. It is very high maintenance and I would not trust anyone but Tom to care for it. My husband and I love to travel and dive. Inevitably, Tom has gotten those early morning calls from our nanny to check our tank. Including when my 5 year old wanted to "help" and the result was shorting out our electrical through out the whole house! My husband and I were in Bora Bora and had no idea. Tom came to the house several times that trip and took care of EVERYTHING!!! We did not lose anything during that whole ordeal. My fish are fat and happy. Tom established my tank when I first got it and services the tank every 2 weeks. He also cares for new fish I order at his place to ensure they are healthy and eating before transferring them to my tank. He is always available for questions or concerns and always replies to text messages almost immediately. We also had Aquarius Aquariums come to my sons preschool on his birthday for a touch tank party. Tom and Aletha taught the kids about ecology and being respectful of our oceans and marine life. They sang songs and got to touch star fish, anemone, sea cucumber...the usual touch tank suspects. It was very fun and very reasonably priced.
