He spent hours at my house when I enlisted him to fix my frozen email messages. He charged me $170 without telling me he did not fix the problem. I assumed that the problem was fixed since he charged me. After I called him later to tell him the problem was not fixed, he was very hostile and ended up fixing it remotely in less than 15 minutes. So the $170 charge was definitely not justified.

Before I did that, I checked Yelp and found this listing for Estes Park. I messaged to see if I might be able to get the protector, even though the company sounded as if it fixed broken things rather than do something like this. I got a very fast response from the owner...yes, he could do the work and even had the protector in stock. He was very pleasant, and made time for me right away. (If you've ever been to an Apple Store, you know what a change this was.) The job was done excellently and at a much lower price than Apple charges, and I didn't have to both buy the protector and pay for the application...it was all for the one price. (Note to owner, you could really charge more for this service.) I am very happy with my interaction with this company, and will use it for any future work that they do that I need. Very highly recommended!

He started going through it and instantly called out about 8-10 small fixes and 1 bigger one that could help it work. He also pointed out that we had the wrong connector cables (thanks wasted Amazon purchase). He had it for a couple of days, called me back with a quote and timeline to complete the work. He then called me back a week earlier than expected and said it was good to go. When I came in to pick it up, he spent about an hour with me showing all the things we did but also all the functionality the player had that we didn't know about. He answered about 10 (what's this piece for) dumb without getting annoyed with me or kicking me out, which he was probably well within his rights to do at that point. I brought it home, hooked it up and it's been kicking butt for 2 days now. We can't stop playing music in the house and it's probably time for a used record store run. All in all, perfect service and communication. I cant speak for a couple negative reviews on here expect that this guy is old school. He does what he says he'll do and in return I think he expects his customers to actually reciprocate communication and transparency with him ie be on time, understand that all these machines are 60 years old and nuanced, etc. Thanks Dr. Dan!
