Adjectives Market was founded by former attorney Jeremy Thompson and they have now grown to five locations. Adjectives Market sells new, antique, and vintage items. They focus on unique but affordable items. The idea for adjectives came to Jeremy from his love of the kind of vintage markets you find in New York, Atlanta, and Miami. He wanted the store to show how vintage items could be incorporated into modern design. Adjectives was chosen for the name of the store because it represents the large vocabulary one would need to describe it. Each store curates new and vintage inspired home decor. I was blown away but how large this store is. There are multiple rooms filled with furniture and home decor. Everything was so beautifully displayed. They also sell holiday decorations, clothes, accessories, and jewelry from a mixture of artists, home decor experts, and craftsmen. You are sure to find things you have never seen before. This store answers the problem I have when I go to antique malls or stores. You can see an item you love on a dusty shelf but you can't work out in your mind how it will fit into your space. Everything here is displayed in such a thoughtful way that you can easily imagine it in your own home. I especially love to visit when they have all of their holiday decor out. If you are looking for a one of a kind gift, this is the perfect place to shop. I could spend hours exploring this store and I literally want everything. I just wish they would open in South Florida. For now I have to be content with visiting them in Central Florida.

I also am really into supporting local businesses these days so we kicked off the holiday weekend with a bang at The Mercantile and specifically their Thursday night party. It was a really fun vibe! Like surprisingly fun!!! I thought it might be like the places my grandma dragged me too when I was young. NO! It smelled fresh and clean, not like mothballs and old clothes (great placement of the soaps and toiletries in the front). They were playing disco music and people were really excited to be there. This super friendly couple that were dressed in crazy 50's shirts (owners maybe?) were really helpful explaining the number & letter system on the floor for navigation and how to use our beer and wine tickets. I'm not an antique person but I also don't want things for the house that everyone has so this place hit the mark. The shop had so much to choose from! I ended up with some wall art, handmade soaps, a serving platter for our 1st party, an old vinyl record and a cat themed gift for my mom's bday. CRAZY selections from front to back. The drawbacks for this place were already mentioned in some reviews I read before going - parking is hard, but they do allow drive up delivery to car for heavy items (we took advantage for a chair my roommate bought), the line for the drinks, and the line to check out (my roommate confirmed they had no line when she 1st went so I assume it was the event causing some backups). *** The GOOD far outweighs the lines in our experience!! Plus, it was a party!!! The fun couple said it was a "fun and cheap" date night and suggested a local restaurant to make it a full evening which I might do next time. I was overwhelmed in such a positive way from the 2 + hours we spent walking the store. I am pretty sure I missed a lot of booths so I will plan ahead for next time. The couple next to us in check out said they try to visit early Sundays to miss all the people and to park easily which sounds like a really good plan for my next visit.

Staff was super friendly and I was greeted throughout my entire store visit. I was offered help twice as well. I knew what I wanted and I grabbed a few things and checked out their clearance sections per usual. They do have some really great deals on summer toys right now at 40% off, which is very tempting given hot Florida days! Overall: A+ Out of the way from our house, but definitely worth a little bit of an extra hike for a great experience.

They are generally well stocked in a variety of categories - whether you are looking for books, home decor, yard items or clothing they probably have something that you can use or want to buy. Even with the appearance of chaos most things are always well-categorized so it is easy to determine what aisle or section of the store that you might find an item. The only interaction that I tend to have with employees would be at check-out. I don't think that I've ever seen anyone that works there walking around or stocking. I've never had a bad experience shopping here. Finally, most of the time the prices are reasonable, and you get what you pay for. I have noticed that sometimes bank and credit cards will have a cashback or discount option when shopping at Ollie's. Finally, the store is located in a shopping plaza that share a reasonably sized parking lot with other stores and a Buffalo Wild Wings.

It's fa la la fabulous. Expensive... extensive... and fabulous. I went to their Christmas in July event, on the last weekend of July 2025. They open at 8:30am and I was there early ( excited!) . They had super friendly parking attendants in Santa hats directing other eager elves to prime parking spots. I was jingling and tingling-so ready to go inside. And I was definitely delighted once I got there... room after room, building after building... full of every Christmas item you could think of, from sacred and soulful to sparkly and shimmery... and everything in between. There were so many trees, decorated in so many themes, with so many accessories, for the rest of the room. I've never seen anything so holly and jolly in the retail world. It really was a feast for the senses (cue the Who's to start singing). There were some really beautiful things-and some prices were high... or at least higher than you'd expect. There were some blue and white cone trees that took my breath away. I'd almost sell my car for those. They were breathtaking-as is so much of this store. And it's not just the merchandise, but the way they've displayed it, as well. It will definitely get you in the holiday spirit... without drinking any holiday spirits. And if the merch doesn't do that, the sweet staff will. They are dedicated and invested in this business... and seem to take great joy in helping customers. No wonder it's survived 50+ years. Santa's smiling at them. It's an easy drive from Tampa... about 90 minutes, give or take. It might be even shorter/easier from the east coast. There's ample parking and truly, something for everyone. But if it's not your style, they have many trees you can buy and all sorts of stuff to adorn it with. I really liked all the lights. They had huge stars for the lawn and large balls of light to hang as well as firework shaped lights. Very cool. I picked up a tea towel. It was $9.99. I didn't have a need for any of the big stuff but I was fascinated by the designs and color schemes etc. The owner said they've been open for over 50 years. She also mentioned they do business with the theme parks. Pro tip- they start Christmas in July! So that's when the store is stocked full of everything. So shop early for the best selection. They do not ship because things can break and the shipping and insurance is expensive. So while they have a website, it does not have their items and you cannot buy online. So- stop by! I would give an hour just to peruse. If you're buying - it could be a few hours. Also- they have other holiday stuff (Halloween, Fourth of July, etc)and silk flowers for arrangements etc. They also have furniture, many large planters and vases. Sweetest lady out we put various different pendants down took pictures took measurements and my niece went home to discuss with husband. Interior design takes a while to fall into place so don't rush something as important as the main pendant of your dining room as it will be the focal point over your dining room table.
