The boba was fresh, soft, and pleasantly chewy. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the drink was a little sweeter than I expected, and I would've liked a stronger matcha flavor. Other than that, the service was friendly, my drink came out quickly, and the shop was clean with a nice atmosphere. Overall, it's a great spot for boba, and I'd definitely come back to try more drinks!

Milk tea tasted perfect level of sweet! Loved the mock ice cream decorations on each table that made such a cute look for this boba shop. Loved the bright lights that made such nice photos. Not much seating with just three tables, though...the caffeine content in my boba drink did not wake me up, though :( which is why I got this. But, surprised at how good it tasted, especially as a SoCal girl

I've had it at 75% and it's good too, but too sweet for my taste. The mix of tiny boba and regular boba is so fun! It's a surprise every sip! My mom loved the matcha latte. I've also tried two of the brew milk teas: the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea and the Honey Milk Tea with boba, at the default sweetness level. They're both great options if you don't like something too sweet and kinda tastes like iced coffee! The service is always exceptional. I'm new to the tea/boba world, so I always ask a ton of questions and for recommendations. The staff is always super helpful, patient and kind. Once they didn't have boba, so I asked for a similar recommendation and they recommended grass jelly. It was my first time trying it & honestly it wasn't bad. The texture was similar to boba and it didn't really have a taste. My brother really enjoyed it! Pretty good substitution! The ambiance is chill. Only one big table and a couple of smaller tables. However most people take it to go. Love that there's a parking garage so you don't have to go crazy looking for parking. Can't wait to go back and try to special teas!

If you visit this location make sure that you ask about sweetness levels because they will not help you.

We hadn't been to Basilic in a long while, probably 5 years or so and made a decision to go back…read morebecause it was a thunderstorm day in Miami and Pho sounded so comforting. The place basically looks the same with just a few updates. But it's peaceful, quiet and pleasant. We decided to have our favorite dish, Beef Pho, and ordered that. Our server was Francisco, who was friendly and helpful. It didn't take long for our soup to arrive. I guess 5 years can make a difference in how pho is made or maybe there is a different chef. The pho now is not cooked the same as back then and didn't taste as good, to our surprise and disappointment. The brisket was not very tender but was tough and hard to chew. The steak slices were cut so thin as to not have much flavor or substance. The amount of meat was a little less and there were way more noodles than before. Something was missing but I can't remember what it was...a green vegetable, I think. Overall, it was ok but not excellent like before. We have had beef pho on the west coast many times and it was always perfect. It could've been just that day that it was off. Maybe it was something else like the economy because the place was empty at 6:30 pm when we arrived for dinner. There was one couple sitting in a booth and only a few trickled in afterwards, unlike in the past when it was packed. There is plenty of parking in front of Basilic with wheelchair accessiblability.

If there's one thing I appreciate more than good customer service, it's consistency when it comes to the actual product they're selling. The past five times I've been going in the last week, I've ordered the same thing and it continues to taste the same way as when I got it the first time. So, shout out to Julio, the mastermind behind the juice. I appreciate you! I would highly recommend their Armageddon smoothie. It's a relatively thick smoothie with peanut butter, bananas, protein powder, raw honey, and almond milk. If you're as big of a fan of peanut butter in your smoothies as I am, don't leave here without one! The ambiance is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Looking forward to continuing to support this small business and seeing them expand to other locations!
