You never feel rushed or overlooked. Pilates Station isn't just a place to work out--it's a community. Signing up was easy online and in the app, and after trying different class styles and flow levels (6 classes in two weeks), I decided to become a member with an annual membership. One of the biggest highlights has been Jackie and Ashlee, the owners of this fine establishment for health and "om"-ness. They're incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, whether you're asking questions in person or by text. I had several questions, and the responses I received were quick and helpful! As someone new to the studio, I really appreciated how approachable they were and how easy they made the whole experience feel. I also appreciate the different instructors who were kind and welcoming to beginners like myself who didn't understand yoga poses or practice before this. The studio itself has such a calming atmosphere! I love the teal color palette, the large mandala on the wall, and wooden floors. Thoughtful touches like the shoe racks, Himalayan salt lamp, and even the skeleton (fake one, folks) up front give the space a fun, memorable personality that makes it feel both grounded and a little whimsical in a relaxing way. I also appreciate that the class types, instructors, and monthly schedule keep things fresh. The flows change often enough to keep me challenged, and special events like Bingo night add a really nice social touch. I like to think of yoga as an "adult playpen" where you do whatever your body wants in your comfort zone while also embracing the art. Sometimes I see different variations of poses, resting on the ground, and everything in between. I mean, even "happy baby" and "child pose" are real movements that I thoroughly enjoy. Overall, Yoga Loft has been a wonderful place to explore different classes, push myself, and continue my yoga journey in a welcoming, supportive environment. I'm looking forward to many more classes here! ‍ Come join, and "yoga"nna be pleased. Let's go "downward, dog"!

I started trying out their "Turbo Kick" class first - through Brunch Babes events, and got hooked. It's high energy, but fun and goofy at the same time, with killer songs to move to. Turbo Kick really gets me excited to come back every week - which is saying something for the person who usually agrees with Fat Amy, "don't put me down for cardio". I love to book their classes through ClassPass, but no matter where you book through, the classes are affordably priced. Highly reccomend, and hope to see my fellow Yelpers in classes soon! BONUS TIP: It's also just a short walk away from one of my favorite healthy eats in town - Urban Fresh! Perfect way to make a little afternoon out of your downtown trip. I've been taking classes for over a year now. I've tried both mat and reformer classes, as well as the Sunday yoga class. The entire feeling of the studio is one of relaxed and open acceptance, which is very important to me. My body absolutely loves how much these classes support strength, flexibility, and balance. As a dancer and a health coach it's extremely important to me to have places I can go on a regular basis to support my fitness goals. Stephanie, Anne, and Miranda are the teachers I've worked with, and I recommend all of them. The classes are small, which allow for personal attention from the instructors and make it so you can get feedback right then and there. I've even grown in height since taking the reformer classes -- and I am short so this was exciting for me. :-)
