Previously the pub was very busy and bookings for a table were needed in advance untill it closed. The service was very friendly and the food was good. For my main course I choose sea bass which I was disappointed to find was about 2 inches square. However the price did not reflect this. On receipt of the bill I commented on the size of the fish only to be informed I will pass this information on to the Chef I know in after thouight I should have paid what I felt was a fair price, but I was taken back by the lack of customer service and the brazen attitude. Unfortunately it just means I will not be revisiting, unless I hear that there has been a change in the value of Castles Inn menu.
