I have had nothing but trouble trying to get out of a timeshare contract I stupidly purchased some…read moretime ago. I had previously paid another company who claimed they could get me out of my contract. It was a substantial fee of almost £7000. Once they had my money, I heard nothing more. They shut up shop and disappeared. I tried several times to contact them via telephone, email and post- no response. I had been "had"! Obviously, I was very dubious about pursuing a termination via another company. There are so many stories online all saying the same thing..."Handed over money and was scammed," "Timeshare Termination companies are a scam, they wont do what they say." But the truth was I was desperate. I had had enough of paying for a timeshare I have only visited once and had no intention of ever using again. Mercantile Claims understood my concerns and made sure I was happy with everything before I signed anything. If I have any questions at any time, I am able to speak to somebody. And best of all, I am no longer responsible for maintenance fees which will certainly make my retirement a lot more enjoyable. Money is not so much of a concern any more. I would have no reservations about referring Mercantile to anyone in my position.

This company can get you out of your timeshare…read more I was under a lot of pressure from the timeshare company, who pressure sold me one of their timeshare resorts. I was abroad in Tenerife when I get approached to buy a timeshare from a salesperson. I was offered some free tickets and a meal and ended up being suckered into a presentation. I signed up thinking I could get out of it when I got home. They then led me a song and dance so I couldn't cancel. I found Mercantile Claims on Google. They had a 5* rating from their customers so I made contact with them through their website. https://www.mercantiletimeshareclaims.com I filled in the form and they contacted me. Because I had made some payments by credit card and had been mis-sold the timeshare I could cancel it. In short, in record time they had me out of my contract and I can sleep again now. I would strongly suggest anyone who has and doesn't want their timeshare to contact Mercantile Claims they are really helpful and helped me every step of the way. Their sister company Praetorian Legal have the experienced timeshare legal staff who knew exactly how to deal with the timeshare resort, it was quick and very re-assuring.

Have purchased three houses, so I know how long the procedures normally take, and these definitely took longer than other solicitors I have used. Fees were reasonable, hence why I used them, however I feel sometimes you get what you pay for. Budget price, budget service. For everything they saved me in fees they cost me in interest on other items as I was waiting for a substantial sum from the sale of the property.
