I have had nothing but trouble trying to get out of a timeshare contract I stupidly purchased some time ago. I had previously paid another company who claimed they could get me out of my contract. It was a substantial fee of almost £7000. Once they had my money, I heard nothing more. They shut up shop and disappeared. I tried several times to contact them via telephone, email and post- no response. I had been "had"! Obviously, I was very dubious about pursuing a termination via another company. There are so many stories online all saying the same thing..."Handed over money and was scammed," "Timeshare Termination companies are a scam, they wont do what they say." But the truth was I was desperate. I had had enough of paying for a timeshare I have only visited once and had no intention of ever using again. This company can get you out of your timeshare. I was under a lot of pressure from the timeshare company, who pressure sold me one of their timeshare resorts. For many years my family and I enjoyed holidaying in Scotland. Wonderful scenery and a beautiful location. We were approached by Wyndham resorts and presented with a fantastic opportunity to buy a timeshare of our own. We had 5 years of great holidays there and as we were told it was an investment felt even better about it. Our circumstances changed and we needed an injection of funds quickly we approached Wyndham and asked them to buy back the timeshare. They offered to do this but we would forfeit any profit we would make if we didn't see out to the end of the contract. We were devastated as this was not what we had been led to believe.
