I've never seen so many birds in my life and it was so cool to see all the different ecosystems of the salt marsh together. There is a parking fee of four dollars per car but I gave ten because I love places like this and they have a nature center here as well. Loved the visit and a chance to see a very special part of the New Jersey wildlife. There are boardwalk trails available for people to take a short walk out into the marshes and a tower with a free viewer for closer looks too! Plenty of parking here and much to enjoy!

Not a paved road so not the first place you want to go after a car wash, but kind of a unique way to experience the marsh, and cheap as well (small pay/visitor kiosk right at entrance to the loop). The donations do have potental. First off if you see a cart grab it, there's no "formal" place to grab one and people just leave them everywhere. They have a limited supply to begin with. Secondly, if you don't like congestion, chaos, mayhem, screaming kids, rude customers don't step inside. You'll encounter all of the above. The children here are literally ferel, than you have the deliquent parents who try to parent by screaming across the store. Literally a boy was riding some sort of for sale scooter thing getting in everyone's way and screaming at the top of his lungs. No parent in sight. It's total noise pollution. The isles of clothes should be organized but aren't. Most are hanging off the hanger or on the floor, some racks are jammed packed so full you can hardly sort thru them. I didn't spend alot of time in this department but can imagine that their sorting process for weeding out stained items, etc is poor. The misc/housewares section is overloaded and overflowing unto the floor. The stuff is piled high on large kitchen metal racks, artwork is all over the floor. This area is totally congested with people, and you will need to dig and move stuff around, alot. Don't get me started on the toy department. It's where ferel children are left by parents who don't want to parent. I will say there is alot of stuff in the housewares, vintage and otherwise, just finding it, getting to it, and dealing with all the chaos around it makes it difficult. Oh, and the min price point at this Goodwill is $3.49. Single spoon? Yep, $3.49! The staff stand around and play on their phones and are of no assistance. I was really suprised at how unkept this Goodwill was, simplying because the area and surrounding thrift stores are the complete opposite.

My wife and I went to get our community id in order to use the pool. We met with this older woman…read morenamed Ruth... Ruth was incredibly rude from the start... we had our lease info and everything we needed in order for us to get our ids. She had no interest in helping us from the start and said we needed stamps on our lease blah blah blah ... (not to mention my family owns 4 properties in the community and I mentioned this to her) still she had no interest in helping us. We went back later and dealt with Brittany who was younger and incredibly helpful and was able to get us our ids. But at the end of the day Ruth had no interest in helping us despite the fact we have spent thousands of dollars on community fees over the years and she we felt profiled because we were younger.... my advice is if there is a senior behind the counter and you are younger like most of the community is, wait for a younger counter girl! Like I said before Brittany was great and incredibly helpful but Ruth the senior citizen was rude nasty and could care less about helping us from the start.

I just loved this thrift store! I visited over the weekend with my mom. They have a nice selection…read moreof women's clothes with a range of sizes including plus sizes! Everything is incredibly organized by size and color. There's a lovely selection of shoes here, with everything in great condition. The shop has some home goods as well. While visiting, there were many kind women working and straightening up around the store. They let us know that all clothes were 50% off which was a great steal as the clothes were already priced really well! Pants were about 7$, tops 5$, which was very affordable especially for the quality of the items there. This is definitely a gem that I look forward to returning to!
