Kimberly's clear, focused, patient coaching helped me remember what I already knew about good parenting, tackled the critical issues immediately, and brought me back to what I know is true: I love my daughter with all my heart, I am supremely capable of teaching her the life skills she needs to be happy and successful in the world, and she has the natural curiosity and innate ability to learn and apply those skills.

From day one, Mayra and the entire team at Speachy made us feel completely at ease. Mayra is not only deeply knowledgeable, but also has a natural ability to create a welcoming environment where our daughter felt comfortable right away. She always took the time to explain what was going on and gave us clear, practical ways to support our daughter's progress. We've seen real improvement, and more importantly, our daughter genuinely enjoyed going to her sessions. A special thank you to Erica as well -- she made all the administrative stuff so easy and handled every request with patience and care. And even when we had to cancel at the very last minute (which we felt terrible about), they never once made us feel bad. On the contrary, they were always kind, understanding, and incredibly supportive. We couldn't be happier with our experience, and we couldn't recommend the Speachy Learning Center more.

Every day I am grateful I found the MA Co-op. I had no idea what I was looking for in a preschool…read moreand did not know the difference between play-based vs montessori, etc. I applied to most of the local preschools. But I kept meeting happy, friendly parents of happy, nice children, and finding out they were from the Co-op. I would see friends watching their kids together, and I would find out they were from the Co-op. I witnessed a parent handling their toddler's meltdown with confidence and empathy - also from the Co-op. So I chose the Co-op, and I am so, so glad that I did. My son is THRIVING. It's incredible watching him calmly (mostly) problem-solve his way through conflict with friends, be empathetic, use his imagination, and be outgoing and confident in the world. The Co-op is play-based, which essentially means we let our kids be kids. The school is a magical wonderland of fun where kids can choose their own adventures. And working in the classroom one day a week means we get to witness their growth and how wildly creative those adventures can be. Recently I watched several 3-4yr olds build a train out of wagons and blocks, taking turns being the conductor and passengers traveling to a myriad of destinations. Not only was it fun to watch, but also it was so incredible to see them work together, communicate their ideas clearly, and use their imaginations. And I was so excited to see a more cautious kiddo join in the fun. I did not expect to really know and love all of my kid's classmates, or for my son to love and feel safe with so many parents of his classmates. What a gift. Navigating the ever-changing world of toddler parenting is tough. Sleep regressions, potty training, transitioning from crib to bed, thumb sucking... With the Co-op, you get a pack of parent friends dealing with the same weird things, and monthly night meetings that are a hybrid of group therapy and research-backed lectures. We will swap tips on toothbrushing after a lecture on building emotional resiliency in children. I am now the confident parent who can - and has - handled the unexpected calmly and with empathy. And I have easy access to help - all of the teachers give great advice and can suggest books/articles/podcasts as needed, and our class WhatsApp is always popping off. The Co-op is not for everybody. As many reviews have mentioned, this is a parent-run school and that requires participation. We work one day a week in the classroom, attend a monthly night meeting, and sign up for a job to support the school. This is a requirement to keep the school running smoothly. This might sound overwhelming, but we take care of each other. It's easy to find someone to cover your work day, and the jobs play to people's strengths and availability. Teacher Kristy (school director) is incredibly sensitive and responsive in finding solutions to help you support the school in a way that doesn't overwhelm. The jobs can range from placing orders to keep the supply closets stocked, to serving on the board overseeing the school's finances. Just like the kids choose their own adventure, so do the parents. The MA Co-op is a special place. I truly cannot recommend the Co-op enough.

He immediately knew the school and said it was the best preschool in California. Turns out he does education certification for the state and analyzes preschool effectiveness for students and communities. He had visited the MACooP on several occasions. This place is wonderful! Our child's teacher is incredible, super knowledgeable, up to date with best practices, so talented and very experienced. The amount they do with these kids every day is amazing, there is always something new to explore. Very glad we gave this a try even though I was very nervous about the time commitment for parents with all the extra meetings. It is intense for sure but that intensity also comes we a deep cultural value of taking care of each other. Everyday I see parents helping each other make it through, and not just the parents who are besties or belong to the same economic bracket. Everyone helps everyone.

I came into it looking…read morefor answers on how to better manage my 'challenging child' but instead came away with a new way of parenting based on compassion, love and connection. As a mom to 4 young kids I have often felt tired and overwhelmed with the daily tasks of parenting, despite the joys. I now feel Ive gained useful tools to manage those crazy days, being less reactive and having a whole lot more fun parenting. My kids go to bed feeling more loved and value. What a gift Kiran has taught me. The ability to share personal experiences and feelings with other moms on a weekly basis allowed me to relieve a lot of built up tension that I would otherwise have bottled up from day to day. I was surprised how natural it felt to share deep feelings with the group and the process of verbalising those feelings really helped me both understand and act on areas of concern. I found Kiran to be a wonderful supportive facilitator who's genuine care for her clients shines through. She has a warm friendly approach and offers countless useful examples of the tools learned to better put them into practice. I truly believe this course has allowed me to reconnect with my kids and be more present in their childhood. They thrive in the special attention and I have seen a marked decrease in acting out episodes.
