What a fantastic experience and stay for our anniversary. I don't think we will ever do another staycation anywhere else. From the communication from Ryan, to the mind blowing entrance and exceptional attention to detail in our room (not to mention the bed & linens!) we just had the most amazing 20 hours. Don't hesitate- it's amazing!! Thank you Ryan for everything

Absolutely beautiful little Boutique hotel just off the Plaza. From its contactless entry, which I've never experienced before, to its beautiful, private, quiet and extremely comfortable rooms...,I loved it all. Highly recommended. I Don't think you'll be disappointed.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. This boutique hotel is a gem. We stayed in a beautiful two bedroom suite with an insane bathroom. The shower alone fits 4-6 people, oh my! Great location - central to everything, especially the museums. Tons of street parking. You walk up to this amazing manor (see my pics) and walk into a downstairs with two stunningly decorated sitting rooms. Our suite was on the second floor and was crazy gorgeous. Dramatic black painted walls, black on black design in the bathroom, modern fixtures with tasteful design and style. Quiet AND the hosts had locally sourced high-end chocolates as a guest gift (which were delicious). Loved the self-check in with electronic access. Streamlined the whole process and accommodated us due to our late arrival because of flight schedules. I would 100% stay in this place again if I'm back in town.

This hotel is excellent and was just what I was looking for on my 2-day business trip. (But this would be great for a weekend spot with my husband as well.) The rooms are unique and beautiful but still comfortable. I appreciate the key code entry without the need for check in/out. The only reason for the 4-star rating instead of 5 is the parking situation. The Kemper lot used for parking for the hotel is a short walk away. I arrived late at night (by myself) with a number of bags and parked on the street (which the email says you can do) so I didn't have to walk far. I woke up the next day and found my car was broken into. If you stay here, park in the lot (there's cameras) and NOT on the street.

I love this hotel, and it's clear the owners David and Ryan do too. There is so much attention to detail and style in every corner. On top of the stunning interior design the rooms and beds are incredibly comfortable. If you stay here you will get form and function! Bonus points for being a queer friendly space in these scary times!

Huge beautiful king room!

Book your stay in Kansas City here! Just do it!!!! The location is ideal- walkable distance to Country Club Plaza! Amazing place to stay- from the adorable look of the outside, to the amazing patio and landscaping, to the little details in the lounge and living room areas, to the amazing rooms with super comfortable beds (trust us we asked the owners what mattress they used so we could buy our own), to all of the amazing details and decorating throughout the rooms, to the incredible rainfall showerheads, to the espresso machine and delicious complimentary treats and evening wine, etc. etc. etc. I can't say enough great things about this place. We have stayed in different rooms multiple times and have not been disappointed and we will always book our stay in Kansas City at the Aida. The owners are beyond accommodating and friendly! Love it here, thanks for the memories and amazing stay!

This place is so amazing. As soon as I walked in, I had to take a few moments to take it all in. Everything was so intentional, elegant with an old world charm with a modern flair. They do a contactless entry into where they send you a code to the entry doors and one to your room. The room took my breath away. It was so comfortable and tranquil. The mattress was top notch, memory foam (think TEMPUR-PEDIC) bed. The room I had, room 1B at the base of the staircase, was massive and had a gorgeous garden view. The fire place and seating area was wonderful. I loved it. The owners were wonderful. I had a slight issue in the room and they responded immediately and were very gracious which lets me know they'll deal with any issue, big or small. It has an Alexa device in the room and they have amazing scents that created such a warm and welcoming vibe. The robes hanging and the chocolates on the bed were a perfect touch. My husband and I seriously loved it so much. It feels like a high class bed and breakfast without the breakfast. I enjoyed the privacy and comforts of this place and almost preferred to stay in rather than go do some of the scheduled activities we had. If there were cons to staying in this place, I'd say that you likely need a car (rather than public transport but Uber/Lyft could work), and there are stairs to enter into the lobby. The linens were good but could be upgraded but nothing offensive. And the bathroom door is strange in that it has to stay propped open; it can only be pushed open from the inside since there's no handle on the outside. It's quirky but also charming. Still I'd give this place 5 stars easily.

My girlfriend and I stayed at The Aida for a mini week vacation in Kansas City. It's in a great location and the hotel is BEAUTIFUL. You can tell that Ryan and David absolutely love what they do because of the detail that goes into the place. Felt safe with our unique digital code lock on our room and a beautiful comfortable room. We look forward to staying here every time we visit KC!

It's super easy to get around, from City Market to Country Club and everywhere in between. I stayed for a business conference at the convention center. The skybridge connection is great and makes it easy to go back and forth. The room was clean and modern, with a nice desk area to get work done at. The hotel was busy with football fans and convention goers, but the staff did a great job keeping everything moving. I also love the bar/restaurant options within the hotel. I'd be happy to stay here again and will be on the lookout for Loews hotels at other destinations going forward!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and there is a beautiful bar area, a full service restaurant and a great grab-and-go bakery. It is also connected directly to the convention center, which was perfect during an August heat wave. It's within walking distance of several other great hotels, restaurants and places to relax after a long workday. On my first night, I missed the room-service deadline and needed some caffeine to stay up late working on a project. A very sweet person in Guest Services somehow arranged for someone to bring a few Cokes to my room well after 11 p.m. I was so appreciative. I do wish they had vending machines on the guest floors. I wouldn't even mind paying the exorbitant hotel price. I'm a caffeine addict who doesn't drink coffee, so I need my morning soda! I loved Red Wheat Baking Co. downstairs. The sandwiches and hamburgers were excellent, and it was so easy to run in and grab a quick bite. We also ate at The Stilwell, and it was wonderful. Our server recommended a delicious entrée and appetizers that really hit the spot after a long day at the convention. The housekeeping staff was wonderful, the front-desk staff was great, and they were even nice after the second time I lost my room key! Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I'm already looking for another excuse to visit Kansas City and stay at this beautiful hotel again.

I did appreciate that they comped a meal for everyone staying here through that, even though a fire alarm was totally out of their control. The rooms have plenty of character, and the valets work really hard here. They bring your car up super fast. The staff at the restaurant is super friendly, and they're good with kids too. It is important to note that the bar area comes to life on weekend nights (you have to walk by it to get to your room), but kids need to see what adults are like after the sun goes down at some point in their lives. But there is an art display on the ground floor of the hotel, so if your kids cannot resist touching something like that, this might not be the place for you. If you're visiting KC, you'd be lucky to stay at the Crossroads.

We had a nice experience at Home2 Suites Downtown Kansas City…read more We stay at many Home2 Suites when traveling and this one although older is very nice in my opinion. We pulled directly into the garage which is under the hotel. There is a door to the hotel in the garage and a doorbell where the staff can buzz you in to a secure elevator lobby. Th elevator will bring you up to check-in desk which is modern and spacious. The front desk attendant was very professional and efficient. Our room was spacious, included a couch, desk, closet, kitchenette with dishes, microwave, dishwasher, full refrigerator, stovetop and coffeemaker. The bathroom was clean and was stocked well. Most importantly the bed and pillows were very comfortable! The hotel does allow pets so we did have a few on our floor and we could hear them while walking down the hallway but not once we closed the door to our room. In the morning they provide a free breakfast in the lobby with a nice dining area. It's premade eggs, sausage, breads, etc. Breakfast is decent. The lobby also has a nice lounge/work area. We were not there long enough to check out the gym, pool or other amenities so I cannot comment on those items but from our experience, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is also located in a great spot to walk to restaurants in the freight district and several other restaurants and bars from there.

Well, it's a soccer weekend and the place is full of 15,16 and 17-year-olds. if this was a policy, it should be stated before you check in. I'd have to call down, wait for someone to answer the phone, then finally have them ask the valet to bring the car. Our last day the manager himself assured me he'd get it done. He did not. Chalice the weekday bartender is great. The food is highly mediocre. Skip it & door dash or walk somewhere instead. The weekend bartender makes you loudly announce both your room number and last name so he can write it on the check; it's both vaguely offensive & a huge security risk for a woman traveling. There are other properties in Kansas City that are probably better choices. The online photos also exaggerate the size & grandeur of the lobby areas.

Booked via Expedia Pros: - More effectively priced vs many of the competitors here. Hotels have all the all the expectations in modern travel, and a few extra niceties. Exercise room, WiFi, good showers, etc - Good proximity to downtown KC, which I have to admit is a very neat area - A lot of art hanging in this place. Hard to tell sometimes if this is a hotel or a modern art gallery. - Building definitely feels repurposed but in a good way. Architecture works (this can cut both ways however) - Staff was very accommodating to my needs. Even did an easier room change without my asking - Nice bar area. Ray the bartender was good conversation. Cons: - The parking is definitely concern. Valet service necessary or street parking is a dice roll. Runs an additional $24 - One of the bigger downsides is you can really hear the street if you're on that side of the building. If you're a light sleeper, it will be an issue. - Not the flashiest hotel in the area. Shorter building and not as great views (nit pick) - $18 for a beer and one mixed drink. Ouch!! I flushed it down the toilet, then called the front desk to a manager about it. I talked with Mel. He offered to move us to another room, which would not have been as nice as our suite. I declined as I didn't want a downgrade in our room. I asked him to make sure that housekeeping did a thorough cleaning the next day. The next morning I stopped at the front desk and talked with Delaney about the cockroach, and other issues. The lounge breakfast was not kept up. It took over 30 minutes to restock the french toast. The pool towels were not stocked when I visited the pool, and had not been for several hours from talking with others at the pool. We got towels from the locker rooms. On departure day, I talked with Mel again at the front desk, and he took notes again to give to the Director of Rooms.
