Although the place was closed, the owner called me right back and came in just to sell me the gift certificates even though she had canceled all appointments for the day because she injured her thumb. She was there in under 5 minutes, which is faster than I got my coffee served at Collectivo this morning. Many services here that I will probably never get myself, but if you want to give a thoughtful gift that's more useful, specific, and practical than the usual, I would put Rain Massage at the top of your list. I heard that Santa gets his massages here, but I'm Buddhist so what do I know. I actually had a really relaxing time. My technician was a male and he was quite nice. The price was as to be expected. But honestly if you solely want a pedicure without anything fancy it was pretty cheap. I only ever get pedicures so I can speak to anything else. They want you to pay cash and encourage you to by offering a punch card that would lead to a discount. I didn't have cash so I just paid with a card. I'd go back.
